Just purchased my first Lightning. It has only 9,200 miles on it and verified it with carfax. Was a showroom truck for the first part of its life. The interior is super clean and same with the undercarriage and engine bay. Truck looks like i just bought it and its 2001 again. Runs great to. I got it for $24,000

Well I’m gonna use it as a daily driver for now. But I’m not sure. I’m gonna see what other people have done with this truck and get a idea of what I may do. I went from lifter fords to this. But it is my dream truck so I’m I’m extremely happy

Nice truck and it's still hard to believe you can find one with that few of miles. It will hold more value if you leave it stock and once you start moding it's hard to stop. Enjoy it that's the most important part. The best advice I can give you is do your research first. Use the search feature. it will save you money and some headaches. Lots of information on here.

Thanks! I was blown away when i saw it and called immediately to place a holding payment to go check it out. I want to keep it stock but value in cash means nothing to me because this is my dream truck i have always wanted and dont plan on giving it up anytime soon. I think i will go through with modding it though

Wow, Clean Lightning OP.. I'll be watching out for you around the south end. What are your first impressions of it? Someone mentioned Lightning in the vehicle disappointment thread....

Depending on expectations I can see them disappointing. By new standards a 13 secind vehicle is slow. The brakes arent great and steering is numb

I hear ya..

Saw a nice looking Black one run a 10.90 at Pacific Raceway last week... I'm confident that can be addressed ;)

That truck runs mid 9s.... He locked the blower up that day

The cost involved you go even 11s reliably is ridiculous. Trust me...

If its this truck

Yeah that's the one.. I have a 10.90 run of his on my phone, I watch over and over for the blower whine:D

I hear ya, but wouldn't need 11's..Heck my Car doesn't even run that...

So How much of an undertaking is it to get the M122 GT500 blower swapped on ?
