I know there are some dealers that are known for better prices on F150s, raptors etc... any dealers in particular to check out for a leftover 18? The wife is looking for an 18 ecoboost premium with auto. The dealer fees around here are astronomical at $1000, Im willing to travel. The GT is just a little out of her price range it looks like.

I wasnt trying to bug him lol.

I checked his inventory real quick, was just trying to glance around and see how cheap people are trying to move shit with the 19s coming. We may even just end up looking around at like 16+ used cars too, hence me not trying to bother him.

Base model GT's are going for around 28 here in OK.

1.) Asking about vehicle advice/purchasing a vehicle is never bothering me, it's my job.
2.) What's she looking for?

just noticed your member title, hahahahaha

well, Im debating paying the difference between an ecoboost and a gt for her but at the moment shes looking for an ecoboost premium auto car. Preferably gray but might be open to other colors.

Her hangup is 450 a month on a 60 month note is the highest shes willing to go, she would have around 8k to put down selling/trading her fusion. My rough ass math comes out that the car would need to be ~32k or less with taxes and fees before the down payment to hit that number which seems like it might be a bit of a stretch but I dunno the invoice price on these cars or anything.

I attached a window sticker of one that is on it's way from the plant, it'll be one of the last 2018's. I could sell this one to you for: $29,407.20 before taxes and titling that you will pay in Florida. That price is reflecting SVTP's X-Plan Partner Recognition Plan, and the additional $500 certificate that goes along with it per @SID297.

Correct. Not a huge deal. I imagine it would run somewhere around $700-900.

Honestly, you guys should just fly up on a Friday, we'll grab dinner, then you can start on your way home on Saturday. Ask @AustinJ427 , he's done it several times and about to do it again.

A guy I know from another forum (I know, I'm sorry, I repent already) does transport said 625-650 on an open trailer, not too bad. Im taking her to test drive cars this weekend (maybe Friday if I can get off work) and decide on the ecoboost/GT thing (I think I want the GT more than she does lol).

ya you're a whole hell of a lot closer! Its close to 1300 miles back for us.

We usually fly in, buy on either Friday night or Saturday morning, hang out around KC/Topeka, stay the night and drive back mid morning on Sunday. It's only like 7.5 to 8 hours for us so it's really easy.

I'm not trying to pimp Nick right now but I'll give my honest opinion.

If I REALLY shopped around when buying a non-specialty Ford, I might be able to find a better deal than with Nick. Not because he is making money but other dealers will sell them at a loss. When we were trying to find an ST for my fiancee, we were looking all over the nation and even spent some time in town with local dealers. Once I realized we could order a car from Nick it was very refreshing. He makes it too easy, I think it's a trust thing, when we were at a local dealer it felt like the guy was always hiding something from me and it made me uncomfortable. Knowing he has my back, it adds another small dimension of confidence in the purchase knowing that I'm the one green lighting the sale with her money.

The way I try to look at it is a mini vacation, that you bring home a new toy after. If I look at it as trying to go buy a car, it will lose some luster. KC is pretty cool and their BBQ is amazing. If you can take a couple days and get away from home and tour half the country, it's more than just a purchase.

Thanks @AustinJ427.

I'll be straight with anyone. I'll shoot you a deal and even tell you what I'm willing to make to sell a vehicle, and if it works that's great, if you decide you'd rather look elsewhere that's fine with me! We haven't been in business 45 years by taking advantage of people or even exhibiting high pressure sale tactics.

ya if we came up to get it I'd have to find some shit to do on the way home to make it worthwhile lol. To fly up Friday and then spend the next 2 days driving home isn't gonna be something she wants to do when it can just show up on a truck.

@13COBRA - any rough idea when that car would arrive? That would be the biggest decision driver on receiving the car if she decides to pull the trigger

Sorry for off topic, but svtp members get xplan pricing? How do we go about getting a pin? Thanks.

premium members can now get an Xplan pin# and apparently its actually Xplan + a bonus additional $500. Theres a thread on here about how to pay for premium membership ($45?)
