I went from a 11’ 5.0 to a 10’ SHO! I just bought a 2010 SHO that already has a custom tune on it, but it’s stock otherwise. My question is, can I do a muffler and resonator delete without getting it re-tuned? Or would it be safer to just do the muffler delete without re-tuning it?

I don’t even have it in my possession yet but I’m pumped. I can’t wait to drive something as quick as all the mustangs I’ve owned and not have to worry about my kids fitting or what the weather is doing!!!

Who is it tuned by? I'm 99% sure you don't have to tune for the changes you want to do. If you do down pipes (that's where you'll gain power from the exhaust), you'll need to retune it.

Congrats and I like those wheels!

It was tuned by a reputable shop in PA, complete street performance. It’s a mild tune but feels really good. Thanks for answering the question though. I’m going to go with the muffler delete and go from there.

I appreciate the comment regarding the wheels! They’re American Muscle Verron wheels, I think. 20x8.5’s.

I attached a better pic without a filter. I just got it home the other night. Super happy with how it handled the 2.5hr drive.
