Of all the Mustangs I've owned('85 GT, '93 Cobra, '95 R, '13 GT500), the '93 Cobra was my favorite.

Very Nice!

Awesome find! Congratulations! If I was wanting a '93 Cobra, it would be Teal.

Awesome pickup!! Love these cars, values keep going up! Did u see my buddy's boss 429 at Mecum? I was there most of the day Saturday and walked across the stage when his car was on the block.

Sick. My favorite color on the 93 Cobra’s. Would love to have one next to my 04 CO Cobra.

Congrats.
I love my Teal '93 but I tire out the drivetrain for a Coyote/6-speed/IRS conversion.
It was high 70s mileage and 2-owner and amazing condition but classy mods, so thought long and hard but decided it's a keeper car to me, my dream car end of high school, and I'll mod it for my personal taste.
If you stole the car and don't have much space, unless it's on your short keeper list, probably best to flip it.
Good luck and great find.

I was only there Friday. I did look at ll of the cars so I'm sure I saw it. How much did it bring and did he sell it?

What a display of awesome cars that show is! The first one I've ever been to. If you ever get chance to go, do it.

Awesome car and color!

This is my favorite Mustang and favorite color.

Funny thing is Saturday my wife and I were about 20 minutes from our house and don't we follow a teal 93 Cobra. What are the odds of that....

I know it wasn't the car my buddy sold at Mecum that stayed local because his car had stock exhaust and the one we followed didn't.

Congrats.

I initially considered flipping it because of the current values. But I'm not sure I can do that now that I've got it.

I spent about 9 hours detailing it Sunday. Here are some pictures after I was done.

Grey cloth with a cassette player?

Does it have a sunroof and rear defrost?

Nice find btw.

I love my teal 93, bought it new in May of 93 and now has 38,000 original miles.

It's gray cloth, cassette, rear def but no sunroof.

Was actually a local car here to my area. Guy bought it new from a dealership about 20 miles from the one I work at. He lives mid way between that dealership and the one I work at. He actually tried to buy one from the dealership I work at but we were sold out. I think this car is either # 47 or 57. I'll have to look at the certificate again to see.

I thought I ran across info before that showed how many 93's were built with each specific configuration. I can't find that info now. Do you know? Wondering if it's in my SVT recognition book maybe?

That's great you bought the 93' new and still have it! I bought my 03' new and only have 15k on that one.

Damn that car is a real collector example.
Mine is almost identical options, grey cloth, no sunroof, and with cassette/defrost.
BUT, and this is a big but, they aren't very fun to drive stock.
My car was much like yours, 100% stock owned by older owners who used it for shows. Still had copy of original check and bill of sale and window sticker all laminated. Second owner was an engineer who very tastefully modded and tried to keep all parts from Ford Racing catalog--'01 Cobra chrome rims, red caliper '03 Cobra Anniversary full brake kit, FRPP springs, shorties, control arms. Only other non-Ford mods were baby Comp cam, AFR165s, Flowmaster cat back, 3.55s.
Wasn't even tuned and still drove perfect, even averaged 22mpg on 7hr drive home AC cold.
ALL that said, I added full length subs, Pro-chamber, MGW and while I loved cruising it, I wanted more power.
I'm sure it's still a blast from the past, but IMO, with an example that is that stock, I'd personally sell as I wouldn't personally enjoy long term in stock form. But that's me. :)

NICE! Nothing better than a teal 93 Cobra. I dreamed of having one for years, and enjoyed one for 2-3 years, some 10 years ago. Bought it for 12.5, drove it 10-15K miles, and sold it for $13,250

Love it. Too bad they are 35k for a good one now. That hurts :(

As I mentioned above I watched 2 sell at Mecum the day I bought this car. Teal one with 11k miles went for $39k with buyers fees and a red one with 1,600 miles went for $40,150 with buyers fees. I think the strength of the economy right now also has a lot to do with how high the value on the 93' Cobra currently is.

I hate you!

: )

That’s one of the best mustangs ever made! Congrats and enjoy.

Thanks! Definately my favorite

You're right about the drive of these cars stock. They were OK for their day but defiantely nothing special in todays world. Back in the early 2000's I traded an 93' Black Cobra in from a guy. Had just about every Ford Motorsport part you could put on it including a super charger. Car had 17,000 miles on it. We traded it pretty cheap. I had planned on buy that car...... until I drove it for 2 days. It drove so crappy compared to the newer Mustang I didn't buy it.

The fact it's bone stock is what's so appealing to me actually. I love the nastalgia of the car and the fact it's a stock survivor. My 03' Cobra has 600 hp so when I want to drive fast I'll drive that one. I'm leaving the 93' just the way it is.

NICE! Nothing better than a teal 93 Cobra. I dreamed of having one for years, and enjoyed one for 2-3 years, some 10 years ago. Bought it for 12.5, drove it 10-15K miles, and sold it for $13,250

Every time I've seen a Teal one I always wished I had one. Never felt that way with the black or red though. Just dumb luck I ran across the guy who had it. He considered maybe selling it but never marketed it anywhere.

Nice find! The teal is sweet!

As I mentioned... my favorite color! If it was black or red I would be flipping it.
