It hard to describe to people who haven’t seen it in its glory, but caught a decent shot of the underlying pearl and yellow flashing through the green final coat.

I’ve seen better examples, but I caught this yesterday evening:

holy window tint batman

If you’re speaking about the lack thereof... in my state the police have a cop posted in the driveway of every tint shop - 1 inch of rubber on the public roadway... big ass ticket and make you peel it off while they stand there.

The only people who are allowed to have tinted windows on their private vehicles where I live are the cops - all of their Ford F150’s have 100% tint.

I can only speak for myself, but I feel it is a civil right which I will gladly forego if tintless windows makes my state a safer place in which to raise my family!

If that were so , why do they have tint shops ?

They sell bongs and crack pipes in all of the convenient stores too, but they seem to have an issue with pot and crack.

My only guess is that the tint shops are there to sell cops tint for their own cars and young kids tint who haven’t yet had the pleasure of having to peel off $300 worth of plastic from their windows while a cop is standing there writing you a $300 ticket... so that we may live in a safer world.

RI the limit is 70% all the way around - factory glass is about 80% on front windows and windshield, so you would not even be able to tell the difference with 70%. The factory tint on the rear portholes and rear window is technically illegal in RI.

MA is 35%, so that is worth it.

I could get a medical exemption because of eye conditions that I have, but it’s not that important to me.

A little more eye candy

Speaking of “eye candy,” do you know how much that Humble Oils gas pump with the lead warning placard is worth!! There should not have been any more Humble branded pumps around by the time the lead placard was required.

Funny... some old gas station owner on the outskirts of Amarillo refused to rebrand, but he complied with Nixon’s Clean Air Act.

If any part of that pump is original, please put it on the other side of that garage wall.

...nice car btw!!!!
