I sold my last one too cheap, went to a good owner though. 19k mile never modded CO Vert.
How many of those are left?
The ones I have now, it'd take big money to buy. No plans currently to sell.

I think it's a fair price...I do not have any of the OEM parts .

I know a lot of people want to bring them back to stock.

1 of 72 man less than that now. I’d start out higher it well sell quick at that price as long as it’s not winter.

Full interior+6pt cage, 04 Redfire with 58k miles built motor/turbo/sra/auto swapped car drive it 60miles there and back to track to run a 9.4x would let it go for 23 all day

Not for sale...

Not even if someone walked up at a car show or some random place and offered you like an insane amount of money where you could turn around and buy like 6 more? I’d be walking home and browsing the classifieds on here.

Hmm. Not sure, the wife wouldn't be happy. But if it was enough to build a 3 stall garage and another terminator maybe...

I sold a 4700 mile MC vert in February and then bought this coupe in May. More than likely, if I sold this car, I would just end up buying another and right now, it's hard to find a MC coupe and when you do, people want to charge $45K:

2004 Ford Mustang | Vanguard Motor Sales

Even to buy back my old vert would be expensive ($37K):
2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible Mystichrome Carol Stream IL 23231431

Now, if circumstances dictated it (finances, illness, etc.), I would sell it and hope to get at least $30K

Gentlemen, I'm gonna have to change my answer, especially after finding out that this coupe sold in 2 days for $42K. Now it's going to take low $40's to pry this car out of my hands.

2003 DSG 51k original owner. Mostly stock with K&N, shifter, Stinger. Sits in the garage. Latest mod was a Battery Tender.

If I knew the answer to this question, I'd have more room in my garage.

I don’t think I’d sell mine. Stupid answer but it would take an offer of way more than it’s worth to sell but even then I’ve put so much time and love into it myself it would take a bold bid. I honestly don’t plan to ever sell it

I have an 04 TR with 14k on it and I am having a hard time cutting it up for the drag strip so I have been thinking about selling it. Maybe you guys could help me get a ballpark number on what it is worth.
04
TR
14k miles
2.8 upper, upgraded idler pulleys, JLT ram air, H&R springs, MM caster/camber plates, MGW shifter, McLeod 26 spline Street twin disk, True Forged IC/radiator tank and Chicane wheels (04 Sleeper offset) wrapped in Toyo R888 (Clutch and tires have about 1k on them).
SCT Handheld.
Dyno Tuned by Lee at Blankenship tuning.
468HP 480TQ.
I think that's it.

guys cracking me up, talking about selling and buying a another one. All the blood, sweat, tears, more tears, and money in theses cars. Owned mine for 8-9 years and pretty much have all the bugs worked out. I'd go to the looney bin starting over. I couldn't sell mine even if someone offered 50-60k for it.

this is a great point. even buying a brand new car, over time you have to work out the kinks and address weak points. so it's like what would be the point, unless you just want something else or you're able to buy new cars every two years.

having owned my car since new, i have done all that and now it runs great, so it wouldn't make any sense to start over.

but as @GodStang mentioned in post #30, there may be some inherent weaknesses to our motors that cannot be overcome regardless, and i am thinking displacement might be one. with the monsters coming out of detroit today, seems like our little 100mm on center bores just cannot hang with some of these muslecars, even though they are much heavier.

edit - rereading this, let me just clarify that there is more to the car than just hp and speed, which is why alot of us don't even think about selling. there is an emotional/sentimental attachment to the car kind of like certain musclecars of the 60s. those aren't considered fast these days, but there is something about them that makes them very desired

I would sell mine for 24K. I am not in love with the car anymore. 2018 GT 10 speed auto all day. That may be my next car.

25k is my number but its only gonna happen if I get a Track Hawk or something similar in about 2 years. Sucks only having a 2 car garage now in Ohio but if I can get my power fix with my DD year round and park in my garage all winter then the Cobra will go. Not sure if a Durango SRT would bump the Cobra from the garage, a Track Hawk would for sure.

Regards to displacement: All depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Seen 4.6l put out anywhere from 300hp all the way to 3000hp. Bigger the engine heavier moving parts...
My car has laid down 822rwhp and still has plenty of room to grow. Also drive it daily when the weather is nice. No issues. Haven't seen a "new production" car hold that reliable yet, without modification, so no point to me to even think about selling, If I did I would have to invest even more money on top of the "new production" make it reliable.. Would still have less money into the car I have now. "822rwhp was on stock motor"
