The wife and I binged all 10 episodes between Saturday and Sunday. Jesus Christ Wisconson wtf is wrong with you. Prepare to be even more pissed. I wont post major spoilers yet, ill let yall watch then we'll discuss. Here are my takeaways. Episode 1 thru 7 will drag on rehashing everything we already know, but dont skip to 8, 9 and 10. You still learn a few new details. Several new suspects emerge with overwhelming evidence. How does a prosecution not get charged or arrested for with holding evidence that could have completely exonerated Steven and was with held from the defense during discovery?

Ken kratz is a pedophile waiting to be discovered.

Like the oj trial, i believe evidence was purposely placed to give the appearance of more guilt...instead of following the evidence and new evidence, they manipulated evidence to try to point to steven. They had 36 million reasons to lock him up.

Pay close attention to new evidence pertaining to Teresa's ex and what was discovered on bobby dasseys computer. How does her ex get her day planner that she wrote in, just after leaving the averys property on the day of her murder? no one questions that. wtf? really?

The Manitiwoc sheriffs office found extensive porn searches on bobby dasseys computer that involves child pron. naked murdered females. hours a day worth of murder fantasy, dead naked women pics. This information was logged and put on a cd. I believe the sheriff used this information to get bobby to testify against steven...he was the prosecutions start witness. this information was also kept from discovery...until now.

The county coronor was threatened by the sheriff that she would be arrested if she went onto the averys property. that to me is very compelling. she was involved in every murder in that county when a body or bones are discovered....but not this one.

girl disappears.

days later her car is found on his property

guy is charged with murder and rape.

guys nephew is also charged.

I've been waiting for this since binging the first season and becoming completely immersed in this crazy story.

I am on episode 5 now. Trying to stretch it out to last me through this week at least.

If Avery can be proven innocent, I cant wait to see who actually committed the murder!

Come on people, he lived/worked in a scrap yard/mechanic life. He probably changed the oil on her car, worked on it, or did something to it. Does that mean in the state of Wisconsin if I change the oil on somebodies car that gets murdered, i'm now the prime suspect?

Stupid country bumpkins. Too much cheese.

It's not too surprising but it's pretty backwoods in that part of the state. Manitowoc County deputies should not have been anywhere the Avery property at any time during that investigation but of course they were there.

A teenager was hit and killed 18 years ago as he was walking home. The murder was never solved and they think an off duty deputy hit him. Just shows how corrupt that agency is- Ricky Hochstetler case unsolved 18 years later

Truthfully, that alone says A LOT about how shitty the whole case was handled. Just imagine how many others’ rights were ignored, rules broken, and protocol tossed aside.

It’s amazing that dept is allowed to put ANYONE in cuffs at all, ever.

When you say "her" are you referring to the photographer whose bones ended up in his fire pit and is your comment about working on her car serious or facetious?

My comment about her car is real, because of all the people i'd expect to understand context of sweat on a hood latch, it would be SVTp'rs.

All things considered, if you open the hood, it's usually hot. I'd expect sweat, and if you're leaning over the hood working on something, you're liable to put sweat on the latch/front of the car from either leaning on it or it falling off your person.

It's an incredibly idiotic piece of evidence considering his background at the scrap yard.

The question wasn't asking HOW his dna or other identifying marks ended up on her car but rather, why. Perhaps I missed it on the various documentaries surrounding this man but I didn't see where she was taking her car to him for repairs or maintenance. She was apprehensive going to his place for her job but did she also go to him as a mechanic?
