i really like my truck - not as much as my terminators lol - but if i ever get some extra money to throw at it, i'd like to do a front end leveling kit and much larger wheels/tires. i don't really know too much about trucks. i have always liked pick up trucks with the small cabs and the stepside/flareside beds and that is why i bought this one in 2009. it has about 123k on it and i just use it for going to home depot, etc. also even though this is only a 2wd, i'd like to install front tow hooks and lower valence for them, i think that might look good.

I did the valence and tow hooks on my 12 and pretty happy with it. Its an easy job and I got the parts at a decent price from tasca I think it was. You might even be able to just hit up a junkyard if you have a local pull and pay. The whole deal is only a handful of bolts. I did the swap after almost getting stuck a time or two

Thank you!
Blue box was $59.5k, I paid $40k.
It was used with 3k miles on it. The previous owner bought a camper that was too big for the truck so he traded it in on a GMC 2500HD.

Seems like a pretty good score, sucks for them I guess

It's astonishing, after spending a couple years on the F150 forum, how often somebody buys too large of a camper for their truck.

"But the camper salesman said my truck could pull it."

Of course he did. His job is to sell you the biggest, most expensive trailer he can talk you into.
