Did you call SVT on the off chance it was never claimed?

I own chassis no. 114. Would appreciate any help in locating the 'black binder' for my car... I realize it's a long shot. Thank you.
Yes call SVT. I called them after I purchased #299. They had the black binder for my car and sent it to me for free. I actually received the binder before the car arrived.

I purchased #114 from Russo and Steele in Scottsdale. When I purchased the car I was promised all of the paperwork would come with the car. Unfortunately, the person I purchased it from was Roger Rodas. Rodas was killed in an accident along with Paul Walker shortly after. Rodas and Walker owned a car business called Always Evolving. After they were killed; I tried to follow up on the paperwork and the lines were disconnected. I was never able to receive the paperwork.

Unfortunately, my original email was compromised... I did a lot of research on the car...The original owner worked at Roush and designed the IRS. He sent me pictures of all of the paperwork that went with the car. He had window stickers, black binder, press kit, original purchase order, etc. He actually walked the car down the assembly line and kept every ticket stub from the car. He claimed that they did in house porting on the upper and lower intake manifold to get more power out of the car at the factory.

I'm sure the black binder is somewhere out there... I just have no idea on how to get it. I gave up on trying to get it and just sold the car.

FYI, I was told the fuel cell bladder was replaced right before I purchased it.

I had a similar experience with AE, but luckily I got the items (window sticker etc). Took several phone calls and persistence. This was before the accident.

Thanks to all who offered information relative to my quest to locate the binder for my 2000 Cobra R, Chassis No. 114. I have not been on the SVT Performance site for a while and did not realize how many members had reached out to help. So my apologies for my sluggish reply and thank you very much!

For your information, one of my first stops was SVT. Unfortunately, they no longer had the binder. They did check for me, however, and that was very nice of them.

Special thanks to flattrack53! I really appreciate knowing you once owned chassis no. 114 and thank you for all the information relative to this car and Roger Rodas and Paul Walker. Very, very interesting. I now know more about the car than ever before and I am very appreciative of the time you took to post.

Cheers to all.

I was fortunate to buy a car from AE before the accident. Even then was a lot of effort to get the supporting items (window sticker, stock pulley etc), but was able to....

@MarkSchaub this is a long shot, but maybe give Mark at Performance Autosport a call. He was a good friend of AE and also helped the estate sell off some of the cars. Again unlikely he has it, or any info, but who knows, just a call to find out.

Thank you for the information re: chassis no. 114, specracer. Very much appreciated. Nice to have contact with one of the previous owners... thanks for taking care of the car while under your stewardship! I'll reach out to Mark at Performance Autosport and make an inquiry regarding binder/documentation. As you mention, probably a long shot but why not take it...

For your information, and others on this thread, I just posted the following information relative to chassis no. 114 over on another thread relative to this car:

For the record, the 2000 Cobra R noted at the top of this thread is currently owned by me. The VIN number listed is for chassis no. 114/300. I've owned the car since January 2016. It is safely tucked away in my climate controlled shop in South Dakota. I bought the car from a private party in PA and personally trailered it to South Dakota in my enclosed trailer. Previous to my purchase of the car from the PA owner, the owner had it under consignment at a dealer in PA... out in Morganton, PA. it was listed on ebay in 2015 relative to the consignment period. That's how I became aware of the car... I was looking for one to purchase. I go to PA (the Philadelphia area) quite often so I got to see the car before I purchased it. Since I've owned the car, I've had it at several car shows here in South Dakota and once at a car show in Hastings, Nebraska in the Fall of 2018... it gets trailered to these events in an enclosed trailer. The car earned 1st place in the Cobra class at the 2018 Sturgis Mustang Rally and 1st place at the 2018 Hastings, Nebraska Mustang event. 'Gets a lot of attention up here in the upper Midwest, when I do have it out, as there are few of these rare cars up here in this part of the country.

Thanks again, specracer.

Looks like I misread your email first time around, specracer. Doesn't appear now that you owed the '00 Cobra that I have but, rather, you owned another car from Always Evolving (AE). Sorry for the misunderstanding. I should have read more carefully.

Regardless, thanks again for the information relative to Mark at Performance Autosport in Richmond, VA. I've emailed him regarding the black binder and/or any other info he may know of relative to '00 Cobra R chassis no. 114. Take care.
