I knew the car had this pass in it with good weather. It still has all the options that come on the car and at that weight I needed some really good air to pull those slip numbers. well, last Sunday I ran a 9.05, 9.01 and then a 8.92 with the latest pulley (4") for the KB 4.7. I'm going to post the slip and hopefully I can get the video up too. Next step will be to turn it up just enough to make it a consistent 8.8xx car. Glad that Monkey is dead!

Sleeved 5.8, Billet pistons, rods and crank, total seal AP file fit rings, Lunati cams (my spec), ported heads (my cutting), 4.7 KB, Custom intake I put together using the Ford GT intake and the large JLT for a MAF housing. Thats about it.
Lol. That's stout! Nice work

Thanks a ton man. It's definitely been one heck of a job nailing this one down.

I was excited as hell rowing gears to a high 10 HAHA.

The space between a high 10 and a high 8 is like the space between the Earth and the Sun. I seriously cannot imagine.

Looking at your video it doesn't sound like you are running a WOT box. Are you? You might be able shave another sizable amount off your ET. I loved it on my 07.

That's insane OP, hell I would be crazy happy with a 9 sec pass lol. What clutch and rear end are you running?

I'm running a McLeod RXT, MGW, DSS and Amsoil in the trans and I still have an 8.8 buy its been fairly heavily beefed up. Has 9" bearing ends, welded tubes, Moser 33 spline axles, Eaton TruTrac, Braced and solid spacer instead of a crush washer.

Oh yea, I run an MSD 2-step. I did some testing on an '11 car and between the MSD and the N2MB and there was no ET difference at all with the no lift shift between the two. You can hear the "pops" between the shifts most of the time but not all the time but the big pedal never comes off the floor. The faster I go seems to amplify the the time lapse between shifts.... also the older I get too LOL. I tried to nail down an 8 second pass at Bowling Green without Power Shifting and it absolutely would not do it without a DA that was lower than -500. My clutch was about done so I had to lift and it ran like a bracket car at 9.1xx for 2 days lol

It took me some time to get the pass but the greatest "help" to the effort was the 651 passes in the car prior lol

Awesome! One of my favorite GT500s on here as you just flat get it done on track.
Can't argue with a car you can drive to the track and row gears to 8s, simply badass!
