I need some replacement headlights for my 97 Cobra. Which of the aftermarket headlights are worth buying? Specifically, which brands are constructed well, fit properly, have a decent light pattern and don't haze up in a year or two?

As information, my preference would be for the stock appearing light, i.e. clear lens and 2 piece design.

OEM
Depo is the next best as far as I am concerned.

Agree with 98 svt.

OEM, cant buy new ones any more from FORD, but you can always re-furbish a set of originals, like this link here: OEM Cobra Headlight Resto + Install ***Lots Of Pics***

DEPO (aka EagleEyes), is probably the next best thing to the originals.

The turn signals however, only the OEM ones fit the best and the rubber strip doesnt peel off within months like the aftermarket ones do.

Thanks, I was planning to refurbish my passenger side OEM light, as it was the haziest. The driver's side had been replaced due to a minor fender bender from a previous owner and was nearly new in clarity.

Unfortunately, the top plastic pin & adjuster (the one that uses a clip to hold it in place) broke during removal. My experience with gluing plastic items, that will have some tension on them, has been poor - the joint usually breaks as soon as any force is applied. Hence, my research to see which lights are any good.

Do you have a link to an actual DEPO OEM style Cobra headlight? My searching to date often finds that the manufacturer of the light is missing.
