I'll check out the Trijicon HD's on Friday while I'm at the range.

I like that the TruGlo TFX Pro tubes are covered with sapphire glass for protection. The Trijicon HD is, too.

No experience with TruGlo but a friend of mine has Trijicon HD on his Glock night and day difference. That’s what I want now.

Been at a match all day and just got home. Ran a different blaster than this one. This one is as yet unfired. Just picked it up yesterday. Poor lighting so this picture suffered. It is not a naked slide, but the roll marks are very "understated", which I like.

No frills. All business. Wilson Combat CQB with Wilson fitted magwell

Very Nice!!! Always wanted a Wilson Combat but could never afford it. I ended up with the Springfield TRP.

I Have the trijicon HDs on my shield 45 and they are awesome. I had them on my 9mm shield and had to take them off because my job wouldn’t allow me to have the orange front dot.

Also thank you cobrabob for the holster !! I carried my shield with it yesterday and it’s very comfortable.

I sold the Wilson two days after I got it, to a friend. I have a Springfield that is currently my favorite blaster, among a few others.

Hey Vinny. I'm glad the holster works well for you. I always like the design/look of the holster. I just prefer OWB holsters.

I'm going to look into the Trijicon HD on Friday when I go to the range. The white dots on my HK VP9SK are good. I just don't like the fiber-optic sight on my 9mm Performance Center Shield. Pretty dim IMO. The TruGlo looked to be brighter than the Trijicon HD but that's only based on what I saw in online reviews. Sounds like the Trijicon HD might even be brighter in ambient light than the TruGlo. Hopefully my range store has both in stock that I can check.

CobraBob, How do you like the VP9SK? I’ve only held it but I love the way it feels in my hand. It’s also about the only pistol manufacturer I haven’t owned. Any negatives of it at all? Do you CCW it?

Debating on grabbing a CZ 75D PCR as a CC as I’ve already held one and loved the feel but didn’t fire it. Should I go for it or not? I’ve already got a Shadow 2 which I sleep with so I clearly drank the CZ kool-aid.

Cool! Did you not like the Wilson Combat?
I have been shooting about 300 rounds of 45 a weeek. 150 on range day, and 150 on match day and I finally connected the dots with my wrist pain. I am assuming I'm developing some arthur-itis in that wrist, so I'm going back to shooting 9 and see if that keeps the pain at bay.

Anybody have any recommendations for sights on a Glock 43?
Look at the sights they put on the Talo edition. I have this set up and it shoots like a laser. The front is an Ameriglo night sight with bright orange surround, the rear is a U-notch. I run it in BUG matches and it kicks butt. Fast target acquisition.

I can understand that, my everyday carry is a Kimber Stainless 1911 in 9mm. Recoil is a lot less on it than a .45ACP.

It is by far the best pistol I've ever personally shot/used. It feels perfect in my hand. Shoots superbly. Is reliable. I do not CCW it....yet. My present daily conceal is the Shield 9mm because I use an OWB holster and the Shield doesn't usually print with the majority of my shirts. The VP9SK is slightly bigger than the Shield (but still a compact) so the holster chose is important. I bought a really nice hand made leather OWB holster for it, but this particular holster with the VP9SK makes it print with some of my shirts. :( One of these days I have to buy another holster for it. At the range, I shoot the VP9SK 90% of the time because it is so much fun and shoots so well. I occasionally shoot the Shield because I carry it right now and it would be my weapon of defense outside my home. If I can find the right holster, the VP9SK will instantly become my conceal carry pistol.

That's a sweet looking rig you've got there.

Thanks! It's one of many 1911's I own and one of five Kimbers I own. I've always been a fan of the 1911 and Hi-Power Browning. My Father was a Tank Commander in the army and carried a 1911. I was brought up old school and could never stomach a plastic/polymer gun in my hand, not that the polymer guns aren't nice, it's just not for me.

If I could put a magwell on a BHP without having to cut the frame and weld it I would run them in matches.
