I saw this posted on a "cobrasonly" fb page. Never seen this chin spoiler before. Does anyone have any other shots of this from maybe the side or an angle? The mach1 and 03-04 chins have never done it for me on the 99-01 bumper. But this one seems to look pretty good. Any info would be great!

Looks good if your roads are smooth.

2000 Steeda GT #0048. 4V swap, FTBR IRS swap, suspension/tune.

I like how it looks. And is a budget friendly alternative to the stock one that is very costly.

Agreed.

If it's made of the same plastic as the mach, it should work fine and not shatter.
And IMO it looks better than the mach.
Someone made one like it here on SVTP; I would need to hunt down the thread.
It may be the very same design.

I've already wrecked my mach spoiler by running it up on parking curbs; so I would just ruin this one too.

It's the same material, and is just as durable as the Mach part.

I've researched these things endlessly. It would give some definition to my GT bumper cover.

My buddy has the Mach chin spoiler on his 01. He uses it as his curb feeler. He figures it's better for the spoiler to take the brunt of it versus the bumper.

me too....It has a pretty tough look...
But I have a "history" with chin spoilers.

telling on myself ...but WTH...

I ripped the wife's G35 coupe's front and chin and engine tray accident;y (stupidly) going over a parking lot curb stone. FYI: Those cars have skid plates on the frame rails!!
not fixed yet..

I pulled the audi bumper off driving over and catching (morning) and then backing off (after work) a curb stone...thank God I always have my navy belt in each car.....fixed/fortified with drilling and push pins.

mustang chin spoiler has a few battle scars but is bolted and push pinned in place.....like a brick...etc. ..etc..
