Ford is waiting to see if Dodge does anything. My guess, if Dodge doesn't make a move within the next few months, this car will be rated at around 730-740 with room to move if Dodge does something this year. Cat and mouse game. Dodge may be doing the same thing, waiting to see if Ford makes a move, then Dodge will make a move. They may be waiting to see what the other guy is going to do.

I’m with you on that train of thought.

I think the DCT is great but the car could have been much more in my opinion. Especially with the development time. And I've been drooling over it's unveil for 2 years+. I'm not hating because the car will be an animal.

Agree with you. Not really an original or specifc idea to be honest. The hideous Wing has to go and ruins it for me, nice Hood I suppose but thats it. 5-6 years have elapsed since the last model and this is the best SVT can do.

Ford really has gone cheap and it shows but yet they charge a premium for shotty craftsmanship.

Are you kidding? What is cheap about anything on this car? Ford is still the only mass production manufacturer to offer Carbon Fiber wheels, it has Recaro seats that cost roughly $4k for you to piece together on your own, it has some of the largest brakes Brembo offered, magnetic ride, a brand new DCT from Tremec, reworked 5.2 with a 2.6L Eaton, and then not to mention all the other carbon fiber parts and the newly shaped and wider fenders that match the width of the quarter panels, new hood, all new front facia, and rear bumper with lower valance, which by the way cost about $4k last time I checked on the GT350s. There is nothing cheap about these cars. What is cheap is how little the MSRP ends up being in comparison.

I think some people have mentally fallen asleep.. Calling this car cheap or behind the times is just not something I can understand. Ive seen multiple people say this now yet not one can actually explain why it's a let down or what ford could have done to make it better. And they all missed the part where you can opt out of the GT4 wing.

Not to mention it has a carbon composite core support and front support I believe and then you have the full digital display which are all premium features that yiu wont find on just any car. The smaller spoiler is still carbon fiber as well. If the GT350 was well received, I dont see why this one would not be either as it offers just as much or more than the GT350 as far as changes go.

Base package is going to run 10.8s@133, and probably better as they’re not done tuning to a final power rating, all while only mustering 0-60 times very close to the 13/14 GT500 that was a 11.5 car.

Imagine what this car will do with a tire...

That’s not even touching a single aero/cooling/handling feature.

So disappointed...

I bet these will be sitting at 90k+ at dealerships upon release. Really wish there was a 6 spd option for those of us not totally about min/maxing everything and enjoy the driving/shifting experience. Still, I like it alot!

Ford has said of there is a lot of demand that they will offer the manual.
