Hey y’all!

Going to be on the hunt this spring for a 2011-2012 GT500.

I am in New York City but am willing to travel most anywhere or ship the car cross country if need be for the right car and the right deal.

Here’s what I’m in search of in terms of preferences and budget.

Colors: Strong preference to Red, Silver, White, Grabber Blue, or Black with stripe delete. I wouldn’t say no to Kona Blue either. Red, Silver, White, or GB would be the dream though.

Options: Strongly prefer Performance Pack with Nav. Glass Roof is the absolute dream. Recaro’s could go either way.

Mileage: Prefer under 60k miles if possible but if your car has 63k on the clock, if it’s in good shape, I won’t say no

Condition: This is where I’ll be most picky. Really want a nearly flawless exterior and 100% odor free and nearly flawless interior. Additionally something that hasn’t been beaten on and has been taken care of mechanically by someone as meticulous as me is important. I’m very particular about my cars and really will only want something that is in phenomenal shape.

Mods: Not really picky - if you’ve done some work, fine. If it’s bone stock, that’s fine too. I’ll be swapping a few parts from my Coyote over anyways.

Finances: I’m open but really not looking to break the $30k mark. Car has to have a “2” in front of the price for us to do a deal. I can also offer my 2011 GT/CS in nearly flawless condition as partial trade plus cash on my end, but will likely just sell that ahead of time. Purchase of the GT500 is not contingent on sale of my GT/CS. I can easily carry both. I am a real estate broker and investor in NYC. I will be getting financing for the car, but earn a very healthy income with good credit, and getting a loan will be a simple matter of making one call to my bank. Looking to pull the trigger between March and May/June at the latest, hopefully.

Let me know if you or a friend is in the market to sell and would like to chat.

Thanks y’all!

Good luck. Spring ain't for awhile in New York lol
I would expect mileage to be around 50-60k for a budget of $30,000 ish
Ran the gauntlet this last summer and best finding is gonna be private seller instead of dealership

Hahahaha thanks man.

Yeah I’m guessing what I find will be in the 45-65k mile range realistically.

I can’t justify spending more than $30k on my toy though. I’ve owned my current GT/CS for 2 years and have only put 9,000 miles on it, and that includes two trips to Mustang Week in SC and like five trips to the Hamptons. Haha. My cars are garage queens.

I’m finding some deals through dealers on Car Gurus and AutoTrader that fit my needs, but I’m trying to see what the private party market digs up.

Bump. Just got “clear to close” with scheduled dates on two deals today for mid/end of March. Going to be shopping pretty hard soon.

Bump.

I just had a car sold out from under me mere hours before I was supposed to fly down south to buy it.

Back in the market.

I have a loan funded and ready to go and 45 days to use it.

Prefer:
Race Red, White, Grabber Blue, and Ingot Silver.
Glass roof strongly preferred.
Mods a plus but stock is fine.

Motivated and ready to pull the trigger on the right car.

Budget is a little more flexible now but still around or under $30k preferred.

Let me know!

I feel for you. When I was in the hunt I was 3 days from driving 5 hours with a certified check in hand when the seller tells me the shifter linkage broke and he is no longer going to sell it.

You can have nine for $38,000. Rare, one owner, glass roof.

Dude the seller of this car pulled such a dick move.

Car had JDM SS Cams, Built Short block, long tubes, and only 28k Miles. We agreed on $30k. So I secured the loan, loan funded and is already sitting in my bank account ready to go, and I was supposed to fly down to go get it this weekend and I found out on goddamned Instagram that he sold it to someone local for $31k. For $1,000 measly dollars more. We had a deal and I took out a loan already. At least give me the chance to match or beat it and TELL ME someone else wants it. I would’ve given him
$32k just to secure the deal. I was FURIOUS this afternoon to say the very least.
