Of note, the hood pin hardware. My guess is that production would be coated and in black. And this is the first time I've seen the "rain tray" anywhere (attached to the underside of the hood in the first photo).

I still hate how Ford runs the hood release line. I wish they would just movie it 2" and hide it.

Noticed that air filter is no longer exposed. I wonder if they draw cold air from more than one source?

Exposed air filters are too much to deal with on a street car. Not to mention, a lot of the time they end up sucking hotter air in compared to a closed off box that only sucks from the front grill.

Since most people arent DD the gt500 i dont think thats really much to worry about. But a closed box does tend to get cooler air. I wonder how big the opening of the box is to the ram aie feed.

Am I not not seeing the hood prop right? It looks like it’s oriented fwd to aft now, or is it a single piston thingy?

You didnt notice the maf right off the air box into the tube?

I don't think that's shaped right for a MAF, pretty sure it's some sort of inlet temp sensor. Unless I'm just not seeing this picture that well.

After further review you maybe correct. I should have looked at it closer before i replied.

I know in my gen 2 raptor they use a map sensor instead of a maf. I’d imagine they’d do the same with the GT500. Map sensors are much better.
