Opinions on 13-14 taillights on 10-12..

Hey looking for some opinions on 13-14 tailights on a 10-12 model..I'm on the fence of what to do and if it kinda kills the value of the car or..

they do look pretty awesome!!! but they are not worth the large cost to me. I think they charge +$600 for the tail lights -- I just tint sprayed mine and they look pretty nice to me.

Yea I found a set but by time they get to Canada I'm looking at $750..my tails are tinted black now actually

Yikes! I just bought a spare 13/14 clutch, slave, bolts and flywheel for around $750.... bought it cause you really never know when you will need it and they are going to stop making the parts.

I had them on both of my Shelbys.
Unlike most parts, these hold their resale value.
$650 avg price for a pair of used ones

I like 'em. I don't care about resale value because mine isn't for sale. But, I still have my OEM tails in storage.

Have them on my 11 and like them, much better look than stock. If you’re worried about the resale value just hold on to the originals, takes about 5 minutes to swap them out.

Anything bolt-on cant hurt resale value. 13-14 tails only increase value if you ask me.

Hell I even swapped 13-14 headlights into my 2011. They look a lot better. Keep your eyes peeled here or offer up. Good deals will pop up from time to time.

I'm in the same boat, I have a '12 but I'm also considering the Raxiom Red Vector lights.

Not too bad, but you will need an adapter harness from 5.0 Motorsports

Its a truly plug and play harness and makes the swap extremely easy. No issues at all. Send him a message for a harness quote, I paid about $180.

Do It! Only mods I've don't to my '12 was to swap the tail lights and rear rotors to '13/14. Besides, if you don't like it, you can always go back, and resale the tail lights for what you paid (assuming you buy them used).
