I'm sure this has been asked plenty of times but I guess not seeming what I'm looking answers for.
I have a 96 which is lowered and have mm caster/chamber plates. I was getting new shocks as the old ones were worn out. I ended up buying fox struts since I'm lowered a fair amount.
Once I installed the new strut with the spacer set up mm recommends go to lower the car back on jack stands, control arm does not move once weight is off , jack the car up on control arm and doesn't compress at all. It's like it's just completely solid. I haven't driven on them yet but is this normal?
The old struts if I jacked on the control arm the strut would go up and spring compress but not with the new ones.
