No, they haven't, some internet photoshop dude has lost his mind.

Same as that electric crossover, it's not a mustang, its mustang inspired and while yes, its ugly and stupid to us, it'll sell.

Look better if they removed the snake and put a big pink dildo in there.

Maybe a heat exchanger in the lower front grill opening sprayed with COBRA AWD in silver or white letters. And 'supercharged V8' emblems on the sides as well. Or not.

Seriously, though, if they can sell Trackhawk Grand Cherokees you'd have to think an AWD GT500 based SUV would fly out the doors of dealerships.

Based on other performance based electric SUV's, I'm actually really excited to see Fords first take on it. I'm willing to bet the performance will be exceptional. After riding in Tesla's cars, there's no doubt that it's only a matter of time (and not much I'd say) until E-vehicles will outperform modern combustion engines (well they do already now that I think about it). I've never bought any of my GT500's or other performance based vehicles with miles per gallon in mind, so the range of the electrics are really a moot point anyways. I can only imagine what the performance of an awd electric GT500 would be!

Dunno how you can be excited about it. I reluctantly watched a Formula E review on motortrend and the day I can no longer enjoy my combustion cars is the day im no longer into cars.

A big part of driving pleasure is the sound. I would genuinely miss the roar of a V8 and the whine of a blower.

But, as batteries get more powerful, faster charging, smaller, lighter and cheaper I'm pretty sure they will offer something to us to make it work. You know they can pipe simulated engine noise through your 15 speaker stereo, right?

I took a drive in my brother's Tesla. Quiet as an electric golf cart. Not good. Fast as hell off the line with AWD and multiple motors. Good.

I'm imagining being able to choose realistic Formula 1, GT500 or other engine sound options in cockpit while outside "the Man" hears nothing and passes me over. Hmmm....Doesn't sound bad after all.

I'm from Alberta where nothing and no one is gay. Got zero context for your comment. I'm afraid I'm going to have to rely on your wider ranging BC experience to let me know if you are trying to say it's a good thing or it's a bad thing.
