Putting in work on your ride and learning it is always well spent time. You lose what skills you have when don't use them. We make money and we lose money and all the great empires said they were built on the best foundation and guess what all that resides is rocks.

Somebody will buy one. Bust it open properly and put it to work. Shit will break repairs will be made and the process repeats itself

I used to. Had some good shit built well over a decade ago. I bought the parts and had the best installers take care of it. It was bitch made and bitch paid. I never heard the end of how i needed to man up and do my own shit again.

Only sometimes and always for bodywork. I enjoyed the shit out of building my rollcage and all the suspension. Its not a yes or no answer from me rather than would depend on my mood and what else I could be doing with my time. I do get a lot of pride out of the stuff I build even though its far from world class lol.

I am a liar though, I have always paid to have my tires mounted and balanced.. #Fail

It's just a matter of choice. I have a limited amount of time on this Earth. Therefore, I have to be selective about how I spend that time. If it's a choice between, say, spending time with my daughter, or wrenching on my car to impress my friends, I know which I'm doing.

Even if I didn't have a daughter, and it was simply a question of learning something, on the list of things I want to learn more about, wrenching on cars has moved further and further down the list over the years to the point that it's pretty close to the bottom at this point. I know enough to do it if I HAVE to. I simply choose NOT to. If that makes me less of a "car guy", or makes some people like me less, well, then I guess I didn't want those people in my life, anyhow.

Bro, IDK what WTF he's talking about lol. My dad is a life long mechanic and made me work on my own cars as a kid/young adult. Saved myself tons of money over the years. But if I had the means I'm paying someone to do the work, lol at worring about someone pointing out I didn't do the work myself.

This went from 0-180-0 quick...the GT500 is an embarrassment with a 180 top. Blah tire rating downforce blah. If the Jesko can produce 65,000lbs of downforce and still do 300, the GT500 should be more than able.
