New a new carrier/locker input needed

I recently went to replace a set of gears in my sra swapped 03 cobra and found that there are chunks missing in the carrier from a previous failure that the old owner repaired. Im assuming a spider gear came apart and a previous owner just replaced the spider gears and left the carrier with chunks missing in it........That being said I am in the marker for a new locker or something along those lines.
My issue is that there are so many options in the aftermarket world im not sure whats good and what isnt.
This is a street/strip car so I would really like to have something that would work like a locker, but without all the horrible noises associated with a locker.
Just curious on what you guys were running or if anyone could point me into the right direction as to what is good.
Ive been looking at the auburn ected locker, but the reviews dont seem to great.

Mine is quieter than my stock one was.

How is the noise when cornering or turning from a dead stop? Does the car hop around when turning?

I run the Detroit in my truck, it’s different than a clutch style LSD. I don’t hear any noise coming from it. It drives like an open axle until you have enough wheel spin to screw in the LSD. It is supposed to be a stronger style LSD however it does not handle clutch drops as well as the stock cobra trac loc. The trac loc is more driver friendly on a road course or mountain road

Once in a blue moon it will let you know it's in there. 99% of the time it runs stock like.

I got an Eaton E-Locker in my Hunting Jeep for close to 20 years and it has been nice. Now it is driven differently than my mustang.

My Eaton clutched carrier makes noise around corners. Going to try fiction modifier this spring. But its held the abuse I’ve gave it so far.
