I think Ruby will require brake upgrades once the aftermarket offers a rear setup for the electronic parking brake.

I love stick trucks...so I put this one together for my dad. '95, K2500, 350TBI, NV4500 5sp, 3.73's.
I just did a quick clean up and "restored" a set of PYO wheels. (and threw a cam in it later)
Its a little too nice for the "beater truck" he was looking for. (I love my father, but he's not a car guy!)

And yes....that is the prerequisite Old Man tissue box!

I JUST sold my '06 Silverado 4.8/5sp 4wd.
Ordered it new in '06. Could only get the stick with the W/T package. Got it with 4.10 gears & LSD, chrome rear bumper, tinted back glass and deluxe cloth seat.
With rebates and GM card rebate I paid $16K. (MSRP was $22K)
Daily drove it 13 years and had 170K miles.
Bought a new '18 F150, XLT 302a, 5.0 & 3.73's. Its nice and fairly quick...but my stick truck was way more fun to drive....

I had an 01 with the 4.3/5sp and had a ball with it. 92,000miles in just over 3 years. I went to get the 04 RST 4.8/5sp and they wouldn’t negotiate on it. I didn’t know anything back then otherwise i would have ordered a truck.

Joe Gibbs had the 4.8/5sp trucks supercharged and from what i saw they were a blast to drive.

Probably why you got banned on TacomaWorld. Actually off-roading instead of polishing it and actually using the truck as it’s intended

Not only Tacomaworld but 4Runners as well (owned and moderated by the same queers) LoL.

The moderating team over there is one of the most hypocritical, thin skinned circle-jerk I have ever seen.

Almost make me embarrassed to own yotas.

I’ve heard conflicting things about the Raptor being too big for the place. What do you think?

You can still take a Raptor and have a blast. You wont be able to go on the technical trails due to the size factor, but can stick to the outer perimeter and wnjoy the hell out of the truck.

Even my newer body Tacoma is too big / wide sometimes.

This Raptor was having a blast while I was battling some mud... lol

Just letting you know I'm reporting this post for pornography. Ruby Red just looks so damn good with polished black wheels.

With the emblem overlays they will match up well.

For install they were pretty easy actually. I watched a YouTube video to assist and found that you actually do not have to open up the fender liner. Heat gun, fishing line and a trim popper does the trick, you can actually pop out the clips from the outside. Biggest pain was removing the old glue and getting rid of the sun fade.

Awesome Dip thank you. You think the Ford overlays would hold up over time?
