I have a set of 4 Forgestar CF5s Deep Concave in 20x9.5 (not 9") x 2 and 20x10.5 (not 10") x 2 for a late model Mustang in a not-original finish of PVD Bright Chrome.
I bought them new in late 2013 direct from Forgestar.
I have run these on my 2011 Shelby GT500 Kona Blue Convertible. I had some very minor curb rash on one of the front wheels, the other three were flawless. I decided to have them refinished in bright chrome PVD from Wheel Creations PVD in California because my car is Kona Blue. I think dark colored cars look better with bright chrome finishes vs the gunmetal / flat black / blacks (IMHO).
These wheels have not been re-mounted / re-used since I got them back from Wheel Creations PVD last year. They've been sitting in their boxes in my garage.
I ran Michelin PSS 275/35/20 fronts and 295/30/20 rears.
I am including everything I got from Forgestar plus 2011 Shelby GT500 TPMS sensors (the rubber valve versions), a new set of hub rings from 1010tires.com (I have 3 original plastic ones and 3 aluminum ones), spline socket and matching lugs (but they are black), a full set of center caps and a few extra, license plate frame, lanyard and a wheel towel. I don't have the original Forgestar boxes (Wheel Creations PVD didn't use them to ship the wheels back to me).
$1,800 shipped (conterminous United States via FedEx ground/home)
$1,600 picked up (Richmond, VA)

It looks like all four pictures are of the same wheel but they are not. There is one picture of each wheel. ;-)

I have a set of 4. 2 x 20x9.5 and 2 x 20.x10.5 that are bright chrome PVD. I would say it's minor because I wasn't charged anything for the "repair" when they were refinished in bright chrome PVD. The wheel wasn't tweaked, bent, warped or deformed. I can take as close-up pictures as needed or whatever else would be needed to verify the condition of the wheels.

Any pictures of the gunmetal wheels are pre-PVD coating. The pic of the wheel with scrub was the condition of the wheel prior to me sending to Wheel Creations PVD. The pictures of the wheels on my Shelby was when they were the original Forgestar gunmetal. I haven't re-mounted/test-fited them since PVD coating (about a year ago). I put my original SVTPP wheels back on the car.

I took a few more pictures. There's 2 pictures with all four wheels. Then I took 4 pictures of the 2 front wheel faces (the ex-curb rashed wheel is a front wheel). I had to resize them for upload. I can send anyone the full sized pictures, pm me.

Great looking wheels, I don’t think they’re made any longer.

Thanks! American Muscle has the 20x9.5 but not the 20x10.5 and they are in the standard gunmetal. AFAIK, Forgestar doesn't offer anything close to "chrome" (unless you think the Anodized Silver is close). Wheel Creations PVD did a fantastic job on them.

I guess I'm dating myself by "chroming" these wheels. It seems dark/black wheels are what the cool kids run...

They are boxed up ready to go. ;-)

Nice wheels. I'd love a set in Chrome, these are kinda like mine except mine are black. I have too many sets of wheels in black and charcoal....maybe one day I'll get something shiny.

Could someone post a link with part numbers for both OE & aftermarket hub-centric rings for aftermarket rims?

AFAIK, the bores of the wheels are generally different. Here's one place to start (and where I get mine):

Hub Centric Rings | Automotive Accessories Canada & the US | Custom Car Accessories | Auto Parts & Accessories

For the Forgestar CF5 Deep Concave I have, it's these: T3 (aluminum) 72.62mm. - 70.5mm. Hub Centre Rings. I can't speak to any of the other Forgestar wheels. AFAIK, the late model Mustang has a 70.5mm hub.

Thank you for the info-

I was reading elsewhere about needing these hub-centric rings when going with an aftermarket wheel/rim on the S197 chassis in general.

So initially I just stuck with my OE SVTPP rims [11/12 Version] and ended up adding [full-set 19F/20R Base/Regular] 13/14 GT500 double-spoke 5-star rims setup....

But thinking about aftermarket rims in general so I can add a set of All-Season tires [275/40R19 or 275/35R20 in front & either 295/35R20 or 305/35R20 in rear]

Debating on trying Cooper or BF Goodrich All-Season Tires...

These are sexy, definitely would rock them.
I like unique, won’t likely see another chromed set.

Call me old school then. I really like these. Been looking for black wheels but these are clean. Where are you located? I am between Philly and DC but never seem to find anything local.

Best of luck with your sale. Great wheels, would look good on the tung silver.

Yeah, I mean, I didn't think I'd be selling my vert. I had every expectation I'd be putting them back on the car, so I wasn't concerned with the costs involved in getting them refinished in PVD Bright Chrome. If I had to do it over again, I might not do it and just replace/repair the scuffed wheel.

It appears bright finishes are out of vogue. I had looked at the Shelby Alcoas when they were still made but I couldn't agree with the price. Meh, live and learn I suppose.

Ah, a "bright" car _and_ wheels, sweet! Old Skool all the way.

I am located in the Richmond, VA suburbs, not to far from you. Can you get FedEx Ground?

I love the chrome, and have thought about making an offer but I've already got 3 sets of wheels, Black, Charcoal and factory whatever color it is... I've thought about adding this set to my collection but it's an expensive proposition to keep buying wheels to decorate my garage.

Nice! Richmond isn’t too far away, especially if I make a trip back down to DC. Yes I can receive fedex ground. Gorgeous wheels and think they would like Great on my car. Need new tires soon, this would be a nice compliment aside from the extra 1k. Trying to get another car up and running, so not sure I can justify the cash. But if we can work out a deal, it would be an easy, In person cash transaction. Nice to find something semi local.

I’ll think on it and let’s get in contact Via email for faster response. Thanks again for the info, Great looking wheels.
