that is a very nice bump, you must be happy. 17 lbs on previous set up?

Oh yea def happy the numbers. I don't think my 20in 555Rs will be lol. going to need to add some welds back there.

I am not 100% sure on the initial setup when I went to the R want to say 18 or 19 can't remember need to find the Dyno of it then.

Well got her back on the rollers yesterday for the post dyno run. I'm please with the results! Now I need a tire that can take the power! LOL. Now I need a BAP. Ran out of pump and was at the duty cycle limits of the injectors.

Dyno run after the 15% OD balancer, VMP triple pass heat exchanger, FRPP 65mm throttle body, Brisk plugs, UPR Off road X pipe, JMS PeddleMax, and nGauge tune from Jon Lund... I ran out of fuel pump. Looks like a new dual BAP from JMS is in order! 705hp/717tq! That's improvement of 99hp and 105lbft! I LIKE IT!! Stay Tuned!

The OD balancer brings a ton of torque to the equation (as if you needed more torque LOL).

Very very nice.. .enjoy!

Swapped the Gen 2 TVS for a Gen 3 TVS
Swapped the vmp twin 72 for a Kenne Bell Twin 75

2.8 upper/stock sized lower now. Blower RPMS 16,500 rpms on the gen 3 vs 20,000 on the gen 2

Went back to 93 octane instead of E85 and added a can of boostane for the final run with added timing. Per Lund I need/can drop a pulley size since I was sitting at 17 psi for the Boostane tune.

Timing for the 93 octane pull only pull was 19* up top 722 whp / 665 tq
Timing for the boostane pull was 20* up top 750 whp / 680 tq (I did for fun have him flip it to STD and it was 768 STD same pull)

IAT2s were 100-105* this go around. Still the same 50/50 mix no ice in the tank.

Update

738/685 SAE

VMP Gen 2
vmp twin 72 Throttle body
2.5/IW 10% lower 19.6 PSI max was in the 18 range for most of the pull
Lower ported manifold
J2 Flow mod, Ice tank and 1" lines with an EMP pump
E85
6r80 swap, circle D 2C 3200 stall
id1000
fore twin 465 system
120mm pmas intake
headers off road x pipe

Lunds base E85 tune, after tuning on pump gas. 18* timing .77-.8 Lamda.
IAT 2 Started at 122* and dropped to 118* at the end of the pull.
IAT 1 Started at 115* and dropped to 97* at the end of the pull.

No ice in the tank, drove 34 miles to the dyno in 92* weather, strapped it down and made pulls within 10 mins of getting there. I didnt want a hero run with 80* IAT2s with the tank stuffed with ice as I wont run like that on the highway.

I will update after I get the full 20-21* timing on pump E85.

View attachment 1489268

Added 3 degrees of timing. Picked up 15 hp and 50 ft lb of tq. Iat2 was about the same at 111, 113, 117 at the end of each pull. Starting around 120-125 each time.

Old setup VMP R 2.4, 67MM TB, JLT 123, ID1050X, VMP BAP, Kooks LTs off road H With these mods made 680rwhp 638tq.

Newly added L&M nsrs, VMP 72MM TB, DSS CF DS ( just putting in there because it was added at the same time.) I added a VMP tensioner because I had belt slip before. Now I am at 755rwhp 661tq @ 18lbs

Pretty happy haven't gotten to drive it yet. Def sounds like I wanted it to and of course it raining here today so no pulls yet.
Torque is lower than I guessed it would be. I try to guess people's numbers off mods by the way, and usually near correct. These TVS blowers usually give us 5.4/5.8 guys closer tq to hp numbers. How did the curve look? Nice power by the way.

You'll be fine with a good drag radial. I make 720rwhp and have Mickey Thompson ET street SS's. 305/45. Havent spun once since I've got em.

It is mainly due to the cams.

Made 695hp, and 666tq with my last setup which was Ford racing TVS, 2.5 upper, stock lower, American racing headers 1 7/8", with offroad H, VMP 67mm TB, 123 intake, and E85.

Added a 10% lower and a hot day bumped me up to 719hp and 698 tq. It was a quick dyno session. If I would've cooled her down for 30mins and put ice in the tank it would've jumped to 735hp or something similar for sure.

interesting. Always thought since the Cams open up the intake/exhaust valves for a longer duration it would increase torque since it increases horsepower. Welp good numbers rother way

This was when I got the car back in November, mods are in sig. I look to get headers, not sure what kind yet. Leaning towards Kooks and I’m going to get VMPs 67mm TB. Looking to make close to 700

You’re not incorrect, as cams can increase total torque and peak torque, but in a boosted application like this, it improves the engines efficiency and significantly widens the torque curve.
This is why you see less boost with cams. Boost is a measure of restriction, so while stock cams impede airflow through the engine, it backs up and creates more boost and then torque.
When the aftermarket cam is installed, you’ll see that restriction is removed, both boost and torque is reduced, but typically the boost curve is greatly extended, as is powerband and horsepower.
If you then increase the boost to baseline/stock cam levels, then you’ll see the big payoff and total torque increase.

the curve looked good im at 600 tq at 3k till redline. Power curve looked good. Im at 18.9 PSI but hovered around 17 PSI which I was kind of surprised about hitting 18.9. But A/F was 11 WOT. I was happy with the 755. Obviously it would be nice to have made more torque but its just a street car so no biggie. Def hauls ass and I haven't had any traction issues so thats always good.

With the tune dialed in its def a big diff after adding the cams and TB.

Next will be Korn prossibly a Gen3 but might just be Korn till I build the motor then Gen3

I'm about 15-20hp less than you and I think that this is the perfect power level. I race alot so I dont see too many cars pass 650. Yea I'm forever a fan of TVS because that curve it provides. Glad you don't have any traction issues. What's the use of all that power and no where to put it right? I have some regular 18's with ET street SS's and I haven't spun once. I say stay at 755 til you build your motor. That's our accepted limit on stock internals and it's a damn good one if you ask me.

What have you ran on the street in your car? Every time I drive my car I have nothing to play with or there is to much traffic to. When I ride my bike or drive my truck I sit at lights with ZL1s, Hellcats, Z06s you name it.

I did run a 14 he said he had TB,Intake, upper and lower pulley we went in second from maybe 30 or so and I pulled about 5 or so cars on him and let off and hit the brakes. But that has been it lol.

Shit...let me see. The better question is what HAVEN'T I raced lol. The only cars I havent raced yet are modded GTRs, C6/7Z's, and super cars. I say modded because stock cars wouldn't be a challenge. Best race I've had so far was with an auto ZL1(6TH GEN). Slicks, race gas, and exhaust. I had to be on top of my shifts that day for sure. But that was before my current power level. I was at 690 then.

I really wana race a gtr, or a boosted C6Z

lol damn really that's crazy. I dont go on the hunt enough I guess lol. So then I am assuming you have ran stock hellcats/ZL1s? What was the outcome of those races? What power are you at now is yours an 11/12 to?

It's not that I hunt, California is just an easy place to find races although the law is harsh on it lol. There are ALOT of roll/dig race meets. I still find random races, but the best ones I've had are planned. Yea stock hellcats, and 6th gen ZL1s are snacks for someone on your power level. Even modded ZL1s, and hellcats depending on the mods are still a win for you. Before I got my current power level I beat a pullied, intake, exhaust hellcat by half a car.

I'm technically at 720rwhp, but that was a hot lap on the dyno. I'm really at 730-735rwhp.
