Seems a Ford representative would not speak about the price of this car at an auto show, rather the announcement would officially come from Ford.

Exactly, how hard would it be for the kid to have her say that just for the clip and clickbait. And then, how does she, how is she, have that information?

granted, if true, im spending several thousands less than I budgeted for, and may opt to do CF package and then add/trade the rear seat delet to someone else

I don't see it being less than $85 loaded. I'd be happy to be proven wrong on that. And that is of course before the dealer's slap their additional markup on it.

Exactly. Even as I contemplate sale of my car for something else, I hope that Ford prices this car competitively.

I hope so, too, Jeff. The new GT-500 will be a huge leap forward (technology and features) from the '14 GT-500, which will definitely push the base price higher. And then you start adding options and packages and the price climbs. It will be a shame if the price for a moderately optioned GT-500 ends up being significantly higher than most can afford.

$ 54,800.00 for a base model 2014 ( May 2013 ) + 6 MY's = $ 67K.
If true, doesn't seem like too bad a deal, then add 5K, 10K, or 15K ADM, & that will curb several buyers from acting..
