Maybe I forgot or something but why did the Night King have to get Brandon Stark? Why couldn't he have just killed everyone else first?

Some will love it, some will hate it. I think that for those that read the book, you will either hate the last few episodes, or be happy that you can have another ending once the R.R. Martin decides to finish it. I am quite sure Arya is not supposed to be the one killing the Night King after all the build up with Jon Snow and even Sam. There are still many unresolved mysteries that the show might not get too.

Still, I enjoyed it quite a lot. :D

Sad part is the books will never be finished. Also we are never given an answer on who the Night King is. Since Dragon fire did not burn him I would guess Targuarian (sp??) but ya that for now is left dead.

Agreed with him maybe being a Targaryen. It could also be that since Leaf (One of the Children of the Forest that made the Night King) used Dragon Glass to make him, this could have made him immune to dragon fire.

It really is a cool show/books in my opinion and hopefully he does finish the series, even though I do agree with you that he might never do.

Ehh. I like the theory but, if he was made with dragon glass then it wouldnt make sense that dragon glass can kill him.

I agree that Dragon Glass (at least the black one) should not be able to kill him. Maybe this is why in the show they had Arya keep her valyrian steel dagger and give Sansa the Dragon Glass instead of the other way around. It is also kind of cool that this same dagger was used in an attempt to kill Bran and it was now used to save him.

I also find it interesting that they stopped the Viserion (The Wight Dragon) from "burning" Jon Snow, this could have served as confirmation that he is a true Targaryen.

I said the same. Man last night was epic.

So I guess winter will never come again?

I thought when the new Wight regime stood around Jon Snow that Danny would do a fly buy and burn them all and he would still be standing kinda like they did with the Night King. To show he was true blood. Just glad I did not have to see a Nekkid Jon Snow cause his clothes aren't Targaryen.

He wanted to “end the world” and Bran is the memory of man.
You're right! Now I remember. But he still could have done that after killing everyone else, lol. He just walks in thinking he's invincible but that was a bad plan for him.

I enjoyed it, and since Arya is my favorite character I was glad she took out the Night King. I read an article where she said she was sad that she hasn't ever gotten to participate in any of the big battles that have come to define the show, but now she has. She didn't even find out she was going to be the one killing the Night King until the table read for this episode, which I thought was cool.

As for it being too dark, my TV rocks so I didn't have any issues with it. :D

The biggest issue I had with the episode is that for 7 seasons we have been told and showed what badass warriors the Dothraki are, and they lasted for 10 seconds, but then Jaime is able to fend them off for 30 minutes with his left hand? The army of the dead was way overpowered in the first 5 minutes of the battle scene for it to carry on the way it did for the rest of the battle, imo.

The scene where she first joined the battle was also pretty badass, also my favorite character.
