Loving my Fiesta ST. Just never really cared for the black on black look with the wheels.

Wheel choice is slim pickings with 4*108 pattern.

My Konigs are 16*8 and only weigh 14.5 pounds. Hard to beat.

Anyway, I wanted to try plastidip. I think they came out great! Only used 2 total cans. Was also able to file down and shave some curb rash I had. I think the dip hides it very well

Mounting them back on as soon as it dries up a bit more

Very cool. That should look great.
I plastidipped the grills on my 07 Fusion over 5 years ago. There's not even a single chip, and that's the front of the car with lots of highway miles too.

Yeah, those definitely give your ST a different, and nice, look. Neat that you can change the personality of a wheel so easily and inexpensively. Beats spending big buck on new wheels, especially when you already have a great looking wheel.

Dollar for dollar, the FiST is the best car Ford makes (made at this point in the US).
I went Focus ST, Focus RS, to my Fiesta ST.

I like it the most as a DD.

Tune, springs, short shift kit. Makes 191/284 to the wheels and weighs around 2640 how I have mine set up

Huh, I was looking into a Focus ST or RS.

Why do you prefer the FiST?

It's just flat out more fun to drive on roads like these.

It's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a "faster" car slow haha.

Realistically compared to the RS. The Fiesta MSRP is 18-20k cheaper. Real world MPG is 18.5 vs 29.5 with similar driving and routes. RS has shown multiple engine reliability issues in the forums, where the FiST is generally in the clear.

My RS showed horrendous depreciation. Went through 1 head gasket and I had a hunch it was going again. With a performance tune, it wasn't worth the risk.

I saved over 350-400 a month switching

IF you and your lifestyle/family can fit in the Fiesta, it's a great car.

I can just fit my 7ft fishing pole in. 400lbs of crushed marble too

You did a good job, it looks great!

I think a Fiesta would fit the daily bill extremely well!

I've owned an RS, FoST and my wife owns a FiST, it's easily the most fun/dollar.

The RS was a ton of fun though, just expensive.

nice what did you prep the wheels with? How many cans did it take you and how many coats did you do?

Did you use any of the glossing or just the regular can? Thinking of doing my wheels to so I can see if I want them black or not.

Just your APC type of solution. Wiped down a few times and let dry.

Did 1 light coat. Followed by progressively thicker coats. Probably have 6-7 total.

Wheels are only 16". Took 2 cans

I've never said this before to anyone. Those plasti-dipped wheels look pretty good.
