Will the oem Factory boost gauge still read up until the marked 15psi?

It’s coming along nicely.
I’ll be throwing it on a DYNO in the coming week!

I keep hearing mixed info online.
Bone stock 07-09’s w/ 3” kit pulley will put these cars at 725-750 crank??

With Gen 2 the 07-09 were rated at 725hp at the crank with the pro cal tune on 93 octane .10-12 were rated at 750 at the crank with a pro cal tune with 93 octane

Aside from the 2.9L Kit w/ 3” pulley did you have any other mods?

What were you making at the rear wheels?
Pulley I had came with the kit. I added FRPP headers, H-pipe, KR mufflers, CF driveshaft, electronic Bilsteins, MM tubular K member, etc. Car was a beast.

Never dyno'd. Never felt the need.

Congrats on getting a Gen3. Nice upgrade.

Quick question. You mentioned you didn't pay sales tax because Whipple is based in CA. Is that a CA tax law? I never heard of tax not being charged when the company is based in a state. If anything, before the recent tax law changes you didn't pay tax when purchasing something from outside the state you reside in.

I never stated I didn’t pay sales tax, BECAUSE Whipple is located in CA.
I stated I didn’t pay sales tax (which I normally would have to), BECAUSE Whipple is based in CA.
^ I didn’t buy this kit directly from Whipple. I bought it from an out of state business. The kit then showed up at my doorstep :)

PS. I still don’t pay sales tax online when I purchase anything from outside of CA. Never have.

You will. Plenty of vendors collect it now regardless of your location/their location and where the merchandise came from.

Until that time comes, I’ll enjoy being “tax free” :)

Well, I'm in NY and we constantly battle CA to see who can dive deeper into the turd bowl so trust me, pay attention to your online receipts because taxes will be assessed to you if they haven't already. And you have a lot of people out there relying on you opening up your pocketbook and paying your "fair share."
