Hesitation/misfire at part throttle

14 GT with a Paxton. Trying to figure out the cause of this but can’t think of where to start, honestly.

The problem I have is that when the weather is warm and/or humid, under part throttle the car feels like it’s hesitating or maybe misfiring. It’s subtle but you can definitely feel it. While cruising at a sustained speed, the car will feel like it’s wanting to engine brake without actually slowing down (since I’m still pressing the gas obviously). It’s so hard to describe.

I’m debating returning the car to stock just to see if it goes away, which is a shitload of work in my case. I figured I’d try here to see if anyone else has ever had any issues like this on a Paxton car.

Dirty MAF signal? Have you logged it?

My maf signal has never been clean since I got the Paxton on the car. You are probably right though about that being the issue...I haven’t been able to get this thing to produce a half decent (for a Paxton car) MAF signal yet.

Before you dig to far into it I would loosen your clamps and try adjusting your piping.

I know Shaun prefers the MAF to be clocked, since he tuned your car I'm assuming you have already tried this?

He’s actually never mentioned which direction to put it. I installed it at 9 o’clock (If the front of the car is 12), and it’s stayed there.
