Third brake light

Took my car in for a respray of my trunk and wing. Picked it up today and my third brake light is cracked.
I called and they said to bring it in and they can fix it. Having it replaced is not unreasonable to ask for right? Crack is not so noticeable but damn, it’s going to bother me a lot. I took a video of it before I dropped it off just in case. I should have taken a better one.

These things are notorious for cracking. Too much torque on the screws or just putting pressure on it, will cause it to crack.

If you want to replace it I believe Carbon Driven sells a sequential one for $150.

Anchorroom sells a vinyl overlay that covers the cracks as well. It's what I use on my car.

I've also seen some aftermarket ones on EBay for $99 but they sell out super quick.

It's one of the well known quirks of the car unfortunately. You gotta watch the torque when tightening the screws and I think some have recommended using small rubber washers to act as shock absorbers.

I didn’t crack it. I took it for paint with no crack. Received it with a crack. Good to know if have all these options tho but I’m hoping they replace it.

I understand that, just giving you the options to give them. I would ask for an OEM replacement however if they balk there's other options. GL
