It is in negative da and cool weather, not interested. It would never run near that time on warmer spring air even, let alone summer.

Stock oh no wait we added tires. Maybe skinnies but that’s a stock demon right?

Yet all the demons I see currently at the dealer are rolling on 4 wide tires. I was under the impression skinnies were factory showroom oem point of sale stock? Just like their 840 tune and crate options...

The demon is a track beast but no way would I want to drive that in track trim. I’m still waiting on 1320 times from street trim, like they are advertised sitting on the showroom. Imo dodge should have marketed street trim times too. Drive it in the wife and 2 kids get out and run 10.2 at 138 then have the family get back in and go to dinner...

I don't care enough to scour the internet to find the source confirming, but I seem to remember Dodge running it on the street wheel set up(which is just drag radials on all 4 corners) and they still ran 9.9. I don't remember the trap speed though.

They posted a picture of it pulling the fronts with the street wheel set-up too.

Anyone else recall that?

Then you might as well keep the window sticker on the window. Better yet, keep the door guards on as well. Gotta keep it original!

Again, I haven’t seen anyone “offended” or “pissed” about some other guy doing such with their car.... the sentiment that is experienced is more like laughter.

But you do you, boo!

Exactly. Offended? No.

Lame enough to be called Gay? yeah... definitely.

@gimmie11s
Baun stock bro!!!

Lame original post is lame.

This was actually posted a few months back and i called them out for NOT being stock.

Those skinnies are just now much more visible in this pic.

Is the ZR1 a bad bitch?? Hell TF yeah it is.......... but it hasnt gone 9s stock!! period.

Both bad ass cars (demon & zr1), does anyone know if the demon has a bigger gas tank or same size tank as the hellcat? I wonder if @treynor still has his demon??

I still have my Demon. Commuted in it today, actually. Really fun car, totally normal to drive until you hit the gas and then accelerates like a supercar.

Hey treynor, have you driven a ZR1? If so what are your thoughts?

Both are nice, fast cars. I don't give a shit about the stock vs tire only BS, one being GM the other being Dodge, etc. Credit will be given where credit is due from me.

Would be nice to have a great track with regular negative DA available. I get that’s why you go to those locations but I have you ever seen anyone correct Back to normal DA? :)
Same reason I’ll trailer mine 13hrs to Mod Nats this November though.

Bonus part is, it's not a Dodge.

That’s like saying “hey you don’t just have one std, you have two!” Or “ hey I know we had a one night stand but, I’m pregnant!” Not all bonuses are good.

Demon looks better, 100%

Chevy guys... God bless 'em. As long as it doesn't have a cage in it, it's still stock, no matter how much stuff they've changed or bolted on. (And they'll even argue the cage part. Remember the Z28's Nurburgring run?)
