04 black cobra with 5.4 stroker on ebay. Pretty high priced but trying to see if anyone has history for it.

Crap my work computer only showed 3 pics. I went back and the rest were there. Not a crusher, does not look to be a 5.4L but kinda hard to tell. Otherwise beautiful car. Kinda high price wise.

I agree that's super high but the car is clean and it has low miles. I'd start out reaching for the moon also
I'd want to know more about the history of this Cobra if I were interested in buying it. Those are some stellar mods and strong indicators it has likely been raced/driven hard. If the motor is very healthy and not pushed hard regularly, the price is high but the seller is looking to recoup some of what he's invested in those mods.
A lot of questionable items:
StopTech brake kit: Pictures show stock brakes with aftermarket rotors.
Return Fuel system: Pictures show stock fuel system
Whipple Crusher: 2.3L non-Crusher.
5.4L Stroker: Looks to be 4.6L motor.
They could just be out of date pics as it shows 22K miles so much could of been done in the past 2K miles.
I noticed the non crusher and stock fuel rails also
I talked to them yesterday on the phone and through text and I’m just not sure. I get the feeling in my gut to stay away. I could be wrong but just I get the feeling they are refusing just to show me the driver seat bolster and I asked a few times already. They sent me a video and I just wanted a cold start idle video and they are revving it hard the whole time while cold. Idk...

It is very very common for Gates belts to squeak on twin screws even when brand new. I had to switch to Gatorback to get rid of the noise. For $30K you can get a much better car than the one listed.

Ok to me I think it is searching for an idle (needs a better tune) and he is revving it like that so you can't tell. For a brief moment while not revving you can hear the idle jump a few hundred rpms that is not from the gas pedal.
Yeah that’s what I thought exactly. It’s not running correct so they are revving it like crazy
I know! I hardly know anything compared to people on here. So someone like me hasn’t to ask other people. Finding a nice modded cobra with low mileage I found out can be tricky. I was going to go look at Deric’s cobra but I had to go on vacation and it sold while I was gone. That was pretty much what I was looking for.
This cobra looks great but from these comments of it not having the stuff under the hood from what they are claiming is a red flag for me.
just because anything has low miles doesn't mean it wasn't abused. clearly something happened to the motor if they're saying it has stroker in it now.
Usually go with your gut feeling. that's a lot of money and you don't want to find out after the fact that you're going to be investing more because someone wasn't completely truthful from the get go.

hmmmm just from the ad pictures, and video, I'd stay away..... if it was 18-20k might consider.
