Specifically looking at the rear tire set-up on the car below, this is a 295/35 Nitto Invo on a 10" Alcoa, it may be a little too much tire bulge for the front.......

..............whereas this picture below, that I previously added in this discussion shows a Toyo R888 in a 285 on the front of a 2011 MGT mounted on a 10" wheel and the sidewall is relatively flat, which is what is wanted to keep the tire in an acceptable profile with the fender lip and most importantly so that the tire does not contact the strut....BUT, I have read that R888's or more recent versions of the same have road noise concerns?......so then the car might sound like a 4X4 coming down the road?

Just for reference/more data, here is my car. Signature wheels and Continental extreme contact sports. The Continentals maybe run a little narrow cause to me it seems like the front sidewall comes in a little and running a 295 would make it a flat sidewall.
Front 20x10 with 285/35
Rear 20x11 with 315/35

I think I have settled on going with 275/35 for the front and 295/35 for the rear. Most tire shops assure me it will fit, including shops that have done this before.
Anyone ever run the Nitto NT555G2? It's between these and the Pilot Sport 4 S. Thoughts?

Looks good. I am thinking performance wise if the NTs are any good or if I should spend the extra.

I can't answer the performance question(s) related to the Nitto Invo's because I have no experience with them, but as for looks, yes those pictures that were sent to me by a forum member for my Alcoa archive do appear to look good, the tires are a little meaty looking on those rim widths, but do not have the "too flabby" or "overly wide" look.

I put the rims on. Bought Michelin 4S for them Decided to go 275/35 in the front and 295/35 in the rear. Like the front, fit fine and look great.
Rear fits fine too, but they do stick out a bit past the fenders. Wondering if they look too fat. Tire shop owner is flexible and going with a 285/35 is still an option. Can post more photos later. The driver side seems to stick a bit more than passenger side. The guys at the tire shop loved the 295s look, but I am
sort of on the fence.

My thought is............If it is just the sidewall bulge that sticks out past the fender a small amount, that is usually considered acceptable. If it is the sidewall bulge AND the tread surface that goes beyond the fender lip, then IMO, that gets to be looking too wide. <<<Just my opinion, as I said.

An adj. panhard bar will allow you to center that axle, that will determine the final look of those tires on your car.

Hi Robert,
I agree with your opinion.
Had the 285s mounted today and I think it looks better on the rim and it does stick out too wide.
The 285s are the keeper, 295s getting returned!
So in the end, 275/35 up front and 285/35 seemed to work best for this car.
