I think there were 3 members on G6 that had received their VINs with Sept build dates (week of Sept 23), They were in DE, PA and FL. There was one here from FL, but he was a new member and could have come from G6.

I was told that less than 25 VINs have been assigned.

Awesome. Im the DE guy. Im open to requests for info if im actually one of the 1st delivered, not just assigned/built

CR has continually upped their capacity and increased production numbers through both public and private investment in Australia. Producing 1,500 CF cars is 6,000 wheels. Barely a scratch. There will be fewer R models. Name the other OEM's using CR for an OEM model...

As for their aftermarket CF wheel sales, when was the last time you heard of anyone buying a set of CF wheels from them? How many sets of those do you think they sell in the US? The number is very low.

Ford isn't limited by CF wheel production at the levels we are talking about. I've pined for a version that includes the GT4 wing along with everything else but the wheels since the moment the car was announced. Many pull them off anyway and go with a Forgeline, etc, as they are concerned with damage and replacement cost. That said, Ford would still strictly limit production of a version without the wheels too (but with the wing, etc).
Are you saying they could create 40k wheels a year if ford would open up this option to every 500?

I said what I said and nothing more.

CR makes more than 40k wheels per year and have during the entire GT350 production run. Their current capacity is quite a bit more than you seem to believe.

Carbon Revolution expands operations to supply 150,000 carbon fiber wheels annually

ON EDIT: Current production may only be around 30k per year with the number gradually ramping up to the 150K by 2022 - if current plans/goals are successful.

I'm not sure how much of my comment is incorporated into this exchange, but my comment om limiting thw CFTP cars stems from more of a potential procurement deal for a predicted amount of sales, rather than manufacturing capability. Maybe that extends to other parts as well.

I have been a member here for years, (Previously Nathan'sTsi before the associated email account was hacked to by FIFA points on xbox live) and I have a ton of respect for DBK, Tob and 13C0bra -Nick, amongst others. Part of me is just bitter about how some of this shakes out, but I will put in the leg work to try and not buy something else. I imagine Nick is out of allocations for this year, and I don't think I want to wait.

I received this information from Kyle at FP.
I was hesitant to order the CF instrument panel because I was getting conflicting information. One source indicated it was an appliqué and another said it was an overlay, so I decided to go to the source for an answer.
I earlier asked him about the availability of the air oil separator and he had to do a bit of research and he got back to me this morning.

I asked him this question.
"Do you know if the Carbon Fiber instrument panel is actually a carbon fiber part or is it a metal part with a vinyl or carbon fiber overlay, wrap or appliqué?"

Here is his answer.
The panel is real Carbon as far as I know.

I have news on the Air Oil Separators.
Ford Performance Parts will offer the 5.2L GT500 separator that is found on the Carbon Fiber Track Pack available for the base car owners.
I do not have an eta just yet, this should be ready to go once cars begin to be delivered

Well, hopefully when the car is slated to arrive and I jump onto a plane it does fall into the abyss and end up in a railyard somewhere for days on end. At that point I will feel like Capone or when Truman made the call to unleash hell on our offshore enemies.

My 14 sat for almost 2 months in Michigan waiting to get on a rail car. Drove me nuts!!!

You don't read very well.

1. Yes, $2k PER dealership to enroll. I don't sell enough Mustangs in a calendar year to roll for any more than 1 of each. So I purchased 7 additional allocations from other small dealerships. In order to purchase them, I had to pay their enrollment fees.

2. I will own MY allocation for invoice less holdback and sell it for MSRP. The other cars I will own five of them for MSRP and sell them for $1,000 over, and then own one car for $500 over MSRP and then the final car was purchased at $2,500 over MSRP. I also purchased the GT350s, at invoice, and am selling them for $1,000 OVER invoice. If you take ALL 16 cars (GT350s and GT500s), and average out the profits, it will fall between $500-1,000 per car.

3. No, you are not a math expert. However, I bet your math is better than your reading comprehension.

Hopefully this sheds some light on your lack of knowledge on the subject.

Nick,

You don't owe anybody an explanation of your business model and the details of these sales. This exchange is simply ridiculous. Your company, do as you like and move on.

I just called. With my order # and dealer code they were only able to tell me that I'm not scheduled at this time. "Matt" said the Handling Package will come with the 4S and no camber plates.

WTF?
