700HP or ate alive?

Life happened real hard a couple years back and I sold my cherished Mach 1. I have hopped into a trucking career and now have my finances in check where I can get another one.

I am chasing a couple different options in the 03 year Azure Blue in color. We are buying it cash and have ability to put $15k in upgrades.

Going all into the motor this time. Being newer to mustangs and power plants here’s the question.

To build this 4 valve properly with trans and rear end to safely rock out 700+ rejoice how much will I be investing?

Can my $15k cover it or will I be over $20k?

Please keep the comments real. The flames can come out hard around here.

I’m located near Milwaukee. What are the shops in the Midwest? Is Mike Post still around in Illinois? Think Marv at C&M is all gone in Wisconsin.

closer to 20k depending on the amount of work you are willing to do and depending on if the car is bone stock or has some mods already done to it.

Kenne Bell or some form of root supercharger is my preferred route. I had a coil over setup before and will likely go that route. Brakes I hadn’t considered yet but that one I can research better.

I am just barely over 2 years in. I started with Veriha trucking out of Marinette Wisconsin. Yellow sleeper cab freight liners with big black V on the roof. Did their academy and regional driver. Then went home daily with them. Now I’m with a home daily company to running tankers out of Kenosha area. At first company I was one of the good ones. Great maybe? In the tanker world I’m a scrub, so much to learn but I’m down!! The money is great tho

Hell yeah!! Those bottom ends are beasts!! That’s like a unicorn these days tho. It’s possible I suppose.
