Then again in this last week...

Officer shooting
Triple homicide that also injured 4
And a double homicide where he tried to kill himself

It’s getting bad in these smaller cities

Another thing.

Houston has toll roads.

San Antonio turned it down.

Some in Austin

Only issue I have here. Roads suck.

Not many options when stuck in traffic.
IH35 can be a stand still or a 90mph fastlane

There is plans to build an upper level on 35 in new braunfels.
13 miles

See 10yr project of stupidity

The violence is pretty much everywhere, CA is pretty ****ing bad though. The homeless situation is getting BAD. Our governor is a huge piece of shit, our police can't even shoot the bad guys, they will get sued or put in jail. The gas is $1.50 higher, housing cost, food, cars, taxes, everything is retarded expensive. I can't believe I've been here 32 years LOL. **** this....come march, my ass is OUT.

I like the idea of new braunfels because it's real close to the lake.

There are about a dozen lakes within a normally outing.

What looks far on a map really isn’t
Canyon Lake is killer bro. That's why I'm moving up there. Will be my last move, I hope.

When I moved here in 03.
I was offered a piece of land there.
10k with water electric and septic already there

3/4 acres

It’s built up so bad that the commute will kill you. But was nice area

You should have bought it just as an investment. I have a short commute since I'm self-employed and work from home.

how is the SAT housing been the last 5 years? pretty good gains? I've been looking at new home builds, I can't believe how cheap it is. Way bigger than my house and 100k cheaper LOL. Daddy is cashing the **** out !

I gotta have a lake !
It's the best one around here. Trust me. Travis is nice too but Canyon is better IMO.

Bro they are building out here like no other. It's due for a pull back at some point. Here is the thing though and keep in mind it's just in general. You don't get crazy huge gains here like in CA or Vegas but you also don't get huge losses. Values here didn't fall near as hard in 08-09 as the rest of the country.

Do be aware that slabs cracking here is an issue. We have very expansive soil and that plays hell with foundations. Even post tension ones designed for movement still fail. The further North you go there is more rock in the soil and it's less of an issue.

Never seen a basement in my life and never knew anyone who did. Probably aint missing anything either

Actually it’s a safe place for tornado

But a 1000sq foot hole in the ground
Which can be a work shop to a bar and bowling alley

Which isn’t really included in square footage of house when unfinished
