I'm currently looking for a new 2019 GT. I sold my 04 Cobra a few years back, and am interested in getting a new Mustang. It will be a daily driver.
So, what I would like to know is what options would be considered "must haves", if you will?
I'm considering these options:
Performance Pack Level 1
active exhaust
digital dash
larger display screen
magna-ride
just to name a few
Which of these would be considered by those who have newer S550's to be "must haves"?
Thanks!

I have a 2018 GT, 401a, digital dash, a10, 3.55’s and the blackout pack. I’d add the active exhaust if I could, but I didn’t feel the PP1 and magnaride were worth the money. This car handles, rides, and stops better than my 03 cobra in base trim, so I didn’t feel loading up with the performance options was necessary.

Thank you, sir! I really appreciate your input on this. This is exactly the kind of information I'm looking for!

401a and A10. I skipped on the active exhaust as I am going to put on an aftermarket X-piped cat back.
I LOVE my 2019 Mustang. I'm so glad I made the switch from the S197 Mustang. Levels better.

Thank you very much for your input! I do really appreciate it!

I'm probably gonna go with the active exhaust, since my wife will be driving the car some. She also drove my 04 Cobra, before it was sold, and she didn't appreciate the Bassani x-pipe and cat-back sound the I loved so much!

Great idea to ask before buying.
As a daily driver with wife seat time, I’d recommend the active exhaust and Magneride.
Great idea working with Nick (13Cobra), it’s rare and appreciated to have a dealer willing to work with members here.
Good luck with purchase!

Do have experience with the Magne-Ride? If so, I'd really like to know your impression of it?

Yes, I was very pleasantly surprised to hear from Nick (13Cobra), and you are right, it is very very much appreciated! I have emailed him, and look forward to hearing back.

Magneride on several city trips and a track day in a GT350R, and around town in a CTS-V, but it was enough to realize the suspension would be the perfect compromise of handling and comfort.
The triple mode Bilsteins in my Hellcat Charger are great as well, but I’d prefer to have Magneride in my next DD.
I must like options, like most, but I’d have no issues with an S550 as a a DD if I didnt have 3 kids and would want 4 main options:
Recaros
Digital dash
Magneride
Active exhaust
Not sure best way to get those, but I’m sure Nick will help.
Good luck.
