yes very true. ive done many blower swaps on this car but im just in the middle of a big move and kinda need to make it a few more miles so i can get to my tool box, laptop and actually diagnose it. lol i must say hotcobra03 i really appreciate you stickin this out with me! our move has and is a nightmare!! cheers bud!
You can’t rule out lower intake hose with out removing lower intake for hands on nipple in face

Actually it’s always good to clean intercooler

It only takes a few minutes to pull blower and intake

ya i seen that thats where it is. my guage is attached on a tee behind the glove box on the yellow hose.

This line has a check valve for hvac system

You are on engine side?

I ran a new line on that

My vents have been acting up.

Original line I can’t even blow through

What type of gauge are you using

Basic with numbers or actually a vacuum gauge that says
Clogged exhaust
Late ignition timing
Intake manifold leak
Below the numbers in red box

ya im on engine side. its the line that runs thru firewall. been there for 9 years no issues. im running a autometer. well i guess its a boost guage, but also reads vacuum

well after finally getting my laptop and data logging, the rough idle was maf that seemed to have lost its brain. new maf idles like a champ, low vacuum was the maf actually not fully seated in the housing. musta got hit by something. relieved it was an easy fix! thanks for all the suggestions!!
