I have a 12 gt500 with gen 2 vmp and Dynatec long tubes. Also have bmr k frame. Anybody have tricks or tips to remove tranny with out removing headers? This project is starting next week and just trying to get any info I can.
Thanks for any advise

Shouldn't be an issue for you. I had no problems with my SW headers and I've heard the same about Dynatechs. You'll need to clock the transmission about 45* clockwise to pull it out.

Put the car on the lift and in 2 hrs clutch was on the ground. took off all the k frame bolts but the front 2. tranny jack and it slid right out. I was scared with all the internet hype.

If it's really tight, get a strap on the headers and pull them out a little, just don't pull them much. Should be able to get 1/2" on each side. I've done this before for that little extra clearance.
