Looking for someone to provide a recommendations on a line lock available today. Have a 2008 GT500 with stock Brembos.

Thanks!

It's hard to find a kit for 2007-2009 with pre-bent lines, it would be easier on your wallet to piece one together. Lethal Performance has a Roush / SLP kit made for the 07 to 09's but it's $349.00. However, Lethal's price and poor customer service would sway me away from them.

There literally are no 07-09 kits avail. If you call Roush as of 2 weeks ago, they had 1 of their/SLP kits left in stock. I bought the second to last
I talked to Hurst too and they said their kit should work as well on the GT500

@Fast Ford , Lethal does not have any of those kits in stock and Roush sells them directly for $282 shipped. So Lethal is not on the ball on that one

@TARGT , if you keep an eye on my Youtube channel in my signature, you will see a video in the next couple weeks on the Roush/SLP install on mine

@PM-Performance I'm not seeing that vid yet, upload date / coming soon?

Sorry, I got side tracked with some other issues fixing broken suspension stuff and fighting gear lockouts and trying to remedy that.
After my UCA install video that one will probably be next, so likely another couple weeks. I try to space out projects and videos to weekly when I can to keep some continuity

I'm going to tackle this install with my dad over the next couple days. I'll post any issues and what we did to resolve. I went with Hurst roll controller due to several people suggesting it.

I can confirm the instructions and bracket for the above part, which was said to be for 2008 GT500, is actually wrong. Bracket won't fit by the valve cover over the master cylinder mounting post. That said, completely scrapping that bracket and using a different mount and drilling a new hole in the roll controller solenoid it appears we'll be able to get everything done. If so, pictures and tips coming soon (in the next couple weeks).

This is on the Hurst kit? I even emailed them to confirm and they said it was a direct fit.
I know on my Roush/SLP instructions they say to bend the tabs on the bracket for the GT500. I think it says to flatten them, but I have not dug into it yet

Yes, Hurst kit backplate didn't fit at all. Ran into master cylinder and valve cover. Had to rework it to fit. Would have fit my old 05 premium but not the 08 Shelby. Things are extremely tight. We had to use a crows foot and double extension/universal to get brake lines installed and we had to bend the lines. It works great though.

good to know. that answered my questions that Hurst could not seem to answer for me.
Honestly, i wish more people posted this kinds of stuff and people didn't flame. Also wish the archives of the old SVTP posts actually worked and didnt give server errors.
These useful posts are great for someone stuck on something that doesn't want to wait for the few remaining people on forums to answer.
