I see the order guide and thanks to those who posted. Talk to me about the HANDLING PACKAGE. I will occasionally (3 x a year) hit the track, have done a few times in my '13 but obviously still a novice driver. Living in the west, we have wide open spaces that allow some serious speeds...Is the package worth it? Do I need it?

Also, has anyone seen the non-recaro seats? I had Recaros before and liked them, especially on the track, but I wonder about the price.

The GT350 Recaros are tighter than the ‘13-14 GT500 Recaros but I went for a drive in my ‘14 tonight and I love mine, so I’ll have to get the Recaros again. Definitely worth the addition to me, unless you have to have power/heated/cooled.
The handling package is probably worth it for swallowing large spaces and canyon roads.

I agree with this. My 14 recaros I just fit my back in. The gt350. No way. I could never order those.

I don’t know how you fit in yours. I ended up regretting getting a Recaro car, as the seats were to tight on my back, in my ‘14.

350 Recaros were even worse. No F-ing way.

The Handling Package is really an Aero Package. It consists of wicker splitters and a Gurney flap.
Weak sauce Ford.
I thought it included CC plates as well? I admit I haven't been following much lately.

Also, I fit in my GT350 recaros just fine. Even when I was getting near 250lbs.

I consider them a must have for any amount of track driving, if you don't have them then a harness would be the next thing to keep you in the seat. It's amazing how much less fatigued you are after a weekend where you don't have to hold yourself in place with the wheel/door/center console.

Well I would consider that package a waste then.

Even worse - Ford tells you in the owners manual that the splitter wickers and Gurney Flap are track only and need to come off after an event. And all this time I thought it was different size bars and spring rates, a tuned damper calibration over non-CF or HP cars as well as the plates being included. Ford missed the mark here, bigtime.

When a "handling package" is in actuality an "aero package" I'd say Ford pulled off more than a misnomer. I'm still holding out for someone from vehicle dynamics that can address the concern definitively.

Thanks to all for the replies! I'll have to wait and see once they start rolling out. Hopefully my dealer will be behind on ordering (they get 1 allocation).
