Why not go GT350?
What’s your driver modded 2014 run?
I know what mine does.
I also know why Ford chose the DCT.

Or a ZR1? I was looking at a 7 speed yesterday with 2k miles for $109k. It was very hard to pass up.

"Fastest" only matters if you're actually competitively racing, or bench racing; fun matters every single day. Manufacturers need to stop selling to magazine bench racers and start selling the enthusiasts again.

That being said, I do appreciate Ford pushing the envelope so to speak with the DCT, I think this is going to be a great car, I'm just directing a general frustration this way.

I'm sure the electric Mustang will be here before we know it and the performance will be amazing - probably even better than the new GT500. However, I will miss the sound of a big V8 and the pounding of gears through a manual gear box. Nostalgic, I suppose, but it makes me a little sad to be honest.

+1. I know it coming, I know it will be "better" but... I cant see myself submitting to electric only cars.

I would buy an all electric truck though

If they can plumb some decent sound into it...

Good news is it’s not like it would be a hard mod to do yer self. Just a super lame onezzz

“Hey Bob, wanna help me mount some “headers” this weekend?”

“Sure”

Lifts car, mounts “headers” ie all weather hi/fi, bass and mid range speakers as a header looking accoutrement basically where real headers would go. Connects wires to a Bluetooth receiver that is linked to a phone app and pulls the obd 2 or likely 3 info from the car, the logic mirrors throttle position, speed etc to replicate sound...

“ wow, sounds great Bob!”

Bobs thinking (****. Kill me now... I remember real headers. And why did he choose i4 sohc as the sound? What a moron.)
