whatever the subjective and beaten to death definition of "stock" is.

is not a “subjective” definition, Bub. Very objective, but less than ideal IQ people seem to have a problem with understanding it.

Before the Demon, no one ever considered tires as a part that needed to be stock in order to be considered "stock". It only mattered if it was a street tire, dr, or slick.

Perhaps "As delivered by the manufacturer" is a better term to use than "stock".

Though it's not stock, a wheel swap isn't meaningful. The tires could be argued, especially since there's a tenth between the dr he used and the OEM nittos.

And no, a 9.68 isn't faster than a 9.65 but does it really matter? There's already been a person that trashed the time "HuR dUr TwO yEaRs LaTeR...". Nevermind the fact that there's a 4300lb car running in the NINES, from the factory, with a warssnty you can use on a race track .

Stock has always meat “stock”, not sure who you have been around, but stop it. And LOL at “wheel swap not meaningful”....

I will agree the rim an tire change take away from it, but not enough for me to still give the car credit! I can personally vouch for the driver. I am hoping to get mine to the 9.65 in 2020, its hard finding a track that won't boot you off however. THIS is my biggest challenge!

you are taking away from the car by posting false / misleading information.

I agree. To me, the definition is objective. I just love reading all the BS. Good times.

A wheel swap isn't meaningful. A TIRE SWAP is. Losing 8lbs isn't going to bring all the Demons turning 9.80s down to 9.50s.

There's only four pounds difference between the billet specialties wheel and the OEM demon wheel. again, the difference in wheels is not nearly as significant as is the difference between tires. Do some research.

If the driver is a skinny chick with hardly anything on (to keep weight down) is that considered 'modded'? I think it would 'cause Hellcats don't come in that flavor of driver from the showroom.

Dodge could not allow the crate to delivered stock(tune and skinnies) as it is unsafe on the road. They skirted this law by selling the crate as an aftermarket option for $1(which kudos to them is still not the best way to be litigation free).

Dodge never posted a stock run off the showroom floor. I’ve been asking for years what does it run with all four showroom wheel/tires?
