Well, some of you remember me from my 85 GT hatch build... then after that my 98 cobra build... that one was short lived as I sold that car last year.

I wasn't looking for this car, didn't really need another project but the car was being raffled off, $100 a ticket and 100 tickets were being sold. The raffle was held via a live drawing online, they were to pull all 100 tickets and the last person standing won the car.

Sure as shit, my name was the final name. I was in shock and disbelief.

I thought I would never do another build thread but here we go folks. Not 100% sure of what direction to go here but what I do know is this one will be another labor of love I will go through with my best friend, my Dad. Eventually its going to be a car that when he comes to visit he will drive and have fun with.

I have a clean 85 show/street car
I also have a SN95 track car (currently on its way)

That should leave some hints as to what direction I am thinking.

Here it is in the beginning. 1985 LX 5.0 auto. odometer shows 20k but roller over for sure, maybe twice.

I would say either a terminator or coyote swap sling with a turbo. Both of your other builds were N/A so why not do something modern...

Commented on your IG, but knowing you Tony there's gonna be a UPS 53' Trailer dropping off full MM suspension parts in a couple of weeks. Maybe have Prestige build another motor but a 331? Ysi blower? Leave the interior fairly stock minus corbeau seats and a harness. Other than that I dig the way this thing looks factory and even the paint isn't that bad

Hahahaha, holy shit you won this in a "waffle" on FB? Wow! I've never trusted any of those enough to enter. Congrats on the win!

They guy who put it on is actually a pretty well known "parter-outer" of fox bodies. I have met him before at the Fab Fords show so I trusted him. And thanks!

I would say keep this one simple. Rebuild motor some suspension and call it a day. Oh and a decent paint job.

All of the above crossed my mind aside from the repaint... Im afraid if I painted it, I would never drive it like my hatch lol.

Widebody.

If I hadn't just picked up another track car I totally would make this into a track car with a wide body. The theme is one weapon for each situation.

Ding ding ding....

Some of you folks know me all too well by now hahaha.

Congrats again on winning the Fox, I can't wait to see were you take this one.

Thanks man! and thanks for being the third man on the photoshoot the other day. I need to post those pics up too.

Ultra-consistent but street-savvy bracket racer?

Ding ding ding!!!!

Im in for this ride!

Buckle up! should be a fun ride for sure.

As MFE stated above, drag car is where im leaning. Easy and cheap way to go fast? Turbo! Need to get the car here first before anything can actually happen. Pending plan is to head out to Cali to get it this weekend. that is if my track car delivery doesn't interfere...

That will be a fun build! If it were mine, I would do the all Maximum Motorsports with the xs5.2 coyote crate. Then what ever power adder you liked because 580hp just isn’t enough. New 10spd auto? I still love shifting so I would do another magnum.
