LOL other than you jokers nobody cares what the weight difference is during a race. Faster car won. Gt500 should do some weight reduction or increase power if he wants to hang with that ZR1 in the future.

Also, I love the A8 in my Z06. No complaints from me and it's my daily driver.

wrong again, genius. 2 of those cars weighted in at 4100lbs with half a tank. With another half a tank (8 gallons), they would add 48lbs. Both right at 4150ish. NOT 4200.


I will however give you some bonus points for not having notebook sheet of paper thick skin, like your other lover.

Very true. But some where trying to make it seem like the ZR1 was 800lbs lighter than the stang. When in reality, it is more like 400lbs give or take a few.

See the thing I circled in red. Its called a period. It’s not a “?” Therefore it was a statement, not a question. The “what???” was for the idiotic claim that there was an 800lb difference between the two by claiming the zr1 weighed 3300lbs. LOL

No. Its not “600lbs or so” lighter. The zr1 weighs a little less than 3600, the gt500 weighs a little less than 4100. For the sake of making things simpler for people like you I went ahead and rounded the figures. Which equates to 4100-3600=500. Got it?

500LBS is a lot of weight, end of story people.

As Tones said, let's see a stock GT500 and a stock Z race each other with the exact same tire setup. That would be a lot more interesting. Not a fully built ZR1 with over $20,000 just in the motor alone vs. a "bolt-on GT500".

Gt500-full exhaust(?), injectors, upper pulley, E85, 815rwhp.

To say the zr1 is fully built....thats a bit to far. Fully built and set to kill would be...1100rwhp???? Not sure.

Understand your stance on the cost, but, we are not talking a simple exhaust, cam and pulley swap. A fully built motor is somewhat different, but, I could be wrong? :shrug:

It has a cam. Lower, and exhaust i think.

Remember the og vid was posted as a prop to the 500’s capabilities.

Does not have a built motor. It has a Cam swap. Check a few of my other posts in this thread as I’m too lazy to type it out again at work. Also see the video I posted. No built motor for ZR1’s to make 1100rwhp and run 8.5@160mph. They are no joke.

Both are bad ass cars, id take the ZR1 for sure since its the last king front engine vette, and in a manual.

The GT500 didnt do bad considering @LostM paid MSRP + boltons vs a $130k+ ZR1 + $19k package from LMR.
