You’re gonna have to pull the trigger on something. Get the sports and if they’re too loud, put some resonators on and tone it down a bit.

Oh Canada!
I get the impression from others that the Tourings are too quiet. Almost stock like.

Correct. On my '10 with otherwise bone stock exhaust, the Borla Tourings were the same as stock until about 3/4 throttle. Above that they were marginally louder.

I am really heavily considering the Corsa Sports, but I am scared to make that investment and realize they are obnoxious. I mean they should be quiet in the car, but not sure I can do that to innocent bystanders. lol

Not quiet at all with LTH and off road X.

Id probably sell them before I put resonators in. Id hate to have another added expense and something more to limit flow.
I am heavily considering the sports though mostly on the fact that incabin noise seems to be minimal. I guess **** everyone behind me. lol

Idk, sounds like the borla tourings might be your best bet, especially being paired with the LTH and Off-road mid pipe. I think it'll give you the somewhat tame and not obnoxious sound until you really get on the gas that coupled with the fact they shouldn't have any drone. Seems like a win win. I almost want to try the borla's but am going back and forth on the MAC exhaust, which does drone a bit.

I have no real world experience with the setup yet, I'm just going by the research I've done myself on youtube.

The Borla's are cheaper, you could try those first and if you don't like them, sell them. I'm sure someone would grab them off you fairly quick. Might even be me! lol.

Borla Touring mufflers will sound just right. Had them on my 07 before I got my 12. Have them on 12 as well, just with the addition of resonators to calm it down just a touch. Sounded perfect on the 07 without resonators.

Details on rest of the setup? I'm also looking to swap out my stock mufflers and have been leaning towards the Touring mufflers since I have LT's and a catless X-pipe.

The 07 had stock headers, off-road H pipe and Borla Touring axle back. Sounded amazing. Pretty quite at idle/low rpms with great volume and sound at higher rpm/WOT.

The 12s exhaust is a 1/4in larger in diameter and believe it or not, makes a pretty considerable difference in volume. I currently have long tubes, off-road H pipe, 12in MagnaFlow resonators and Borla mufflers. Sounds as good as I’ve heard. The resonators toned down the volume just enough and gave it a better tone throughout all rpms. Still loud as **** at wide open throttle but sounds great. Without the resonators, you could literally hear me from over a mile away at WOT. I don’t need that kind of attention from that far away.

Corsa Sports are fine... Only loud when you step on it. No drone...

Happen to have any sound clips? I'm in the same boat where I'm not trying to draw tons of attention, but I do want it to sound better than the stock mufflers.

It’s not letting me post a video. I can text one to you if you want. PM me with your number.

I am having a shop fab up some borla tourings today, to my Bassani 3” exhaust. Swapping out the Bassani mufflers for the Borlas. I can send a video later. The Bassani exhaust is full 3” header back exhaust with high flow cats, 3” xpipe of course, just looking to quiet it down and kill the drone. The exhaust shop is building the Borla set up so I can switch between the Bassani and Borla and mufflers.
