I stopped adding power at 922 rwhp through the 6R80.

Okay, thanks. Good to know you didn't have any problem with yours. I'm driving mine on spring pressure at 788/724, but can bump it to 928/880 just shy of 16#. At the tire, and through a 6R80 too.

The 5.0 Aluminator is basically a Gen 2 designed to work with Gen 1 electronics. What needs to be done for your 5.2 to work with Gen 1 electronics, or how are you handling that part? Is that why you're using Gen 2 heads?

My Aluminator was a Gen 1, believe it or not. Purchased in early 15'.

Gen 1 timing components with Gen 1 cams is what I have.

I went with Gen 2 heads, as I needed to buy heads anyway and was told that they can do more with the exhaust port than a Gen 1. I feel like my one real splurge on this build is the heads.

Going well so far. Taking my time getting it broken in. I have ethanol in it now and am planning on doing initial data logs and a boost comparison tomorrow.

I'm curious to see how much boost drops with the new setup. I'll post results.
