Anyone replace Carpet yet? OEM? ACC?

I am working on some small projects on my Shelby to freshen it back up a little bit and starting in the warn areas and especially those that are obsolete parts or probably will be soon. The previous owner put quite a few miles on a road course track and the carpet is pretty warn under the brake and clutch so I was thinking of replacing it. I heard the aftermarket stuff available wasn't the best and wondering if I should spend the extra for OEM from Ford before it's no longer available?

I've done carpet in 80s and 90s Mustangs and the OEM is far superior to what is out there for those models. I would be inclined to get OEM.

I've used these guys for my Lightning, and they were great (better than ACC or stock):

Auto Carpet for Car, Truck, Van - Stock Interiors

Get the plush pile with the mastic backing.

was this the regular plush or ultra? I wonder how the cost compares to OEM?

Yeah I have a classic restoration shop and we install a fair amount of ACC carpets in stock restorations and it does fine for those but reviews I read for the 05-09 cars were not good. The price for oem is more than double but the quality seems pretty good and who knows how much longer you will be able to purchase it from ford.
