I had vibration , and I had amrs and nitto g2 . balanced a few times went over ever every suspension component. Bought the sve r355 and nt05 problem solved they balanced with with way less tire weights . I was able to go wider and also save almost 30lbs over amrs

I also have the Griggs rear coilovers w/ the 315 Brackets and the Front Offset Coilovers. I run 19x11.5 Apex SM10 wheels with 305/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on all 4 corners. I had to run a 13mm spacer out back and a 20mm spacer up front to make it work. This set up totally pushes fitment to the limit but I would still like to see a 315 series tire on all 4 corners.
That's good to know! I may be looking at new wheels now. I probably won't track this car to it's full potential but getting a little more rubber out back would be nice. I would like to stick with a 19" wheel and probably 10.5-11" wide at least for the rear. A 305 tire would be fine if a 315 is too tight.
I spoke with customer service at American Muscle today to see if anything could be done about my wheels. Unfortunately I bought them quite a while ago so there wasn't much but they did offer a small discount on replacements but I'm not sure I want to go down that road again. That would mean I have had 3 of the 5 wheels I have had in my possession bent with no incidents that would have made them so. I may hold out and look for a higher quality wheel that won't brake the bank. One option I have is a relative has a set of take off wheels from an 11 SVTPP car he may sell. The only downside there is the 9.5" widths.
Check out Apex Wheels. They have some good options!!!
+1 for APEX, they make wheels for the track and they can take the abuse. They're light and priced well. I have the EC-7 19x10.
I'll take a look at them. What are you guys running for sizes both wheels and tires? I'm looking for something of quality but I don't have a ton of funds to spare for this car at the moment as I'm finishing up a restoration on another car. I will run my 265 and 295 michelins for now since there is a fair amount of tread left.
I am running Forgestar F14 19x10 with 285s on all four. I might switch to 295s on all four for this years track season. Looks to be plenty of room.
Do the Forgestar's run true and balance easy? They seem decently priced and look good.
They balance great for the price. I never had a problem, lots of people run them.
I see you said you were running the f14 in 19x10 all around. When I was looking at them on American Muscle they list the 19x10 as rear only. Is that what you bought and I take it they clear the front brakes?
I run the deep concave on all four, a very small spacer is needed on the front to clear the caliper. If you go on their website you can see the different style concaves/offset you can order. Some have said they fit fine without a spacer, but mine needed them.
Wheels are 19x10, tires are Nitto 555 G2 285/35 all around. Apex have regular group buys which can save you $200 + free shipping. And they have specific sizes to fit the widest tires you want. Check out their website.
How do the group buys work? Are they bought direct or is there a good dealer to get them through?
The SVE wheels seem decently priced and I like a few of the styles. Do they handle higher speed and balance well?
Well I decided before I spent the money on new wheels I would try sorting out the current wheels. The wife wasn't thrilled with spending money on wheels again as it's something I'm doing often with a handful of toys in the garage. I learned there is a wheel straightening service locally and I brought my wheels by to have them checked to see how bad they were and I'f it was cost affective to have them repaired. After the guy spun them and checked them out I learned they were not bent at all. I then took the wheels to another shop I use regularly and had them spin them up on the balancer and check for true. The balance was way off from Costco and had entirely way too much weight. I also had a band on a TPMS sensor loose and another tire had access band material floating around in one of the tires. They were able to balance up nice with very little weight once we had everything squared away. I'll have to take it out for a test run to know for sure but it looks like this was more of a balance and install issue with Costco.

Glad you seem to have found the issue and it was something simple. It's also good that it wasn't the wheels from American Muscle. I know a lot of people, myself included, that use them occasionally for parts. Their customer service has been very good to me in the past, and I would hate to find out that they had an issue with sub-par quality wheels. I get that their stuff isn't on par with the premium wheel manufacturers, but I would HOPE at lest, that they are true.
Right. I hope to test drive it here soon and find out if that was all it really was. American muscle has been good about it and I would like to clear the air on the wheels. They are inexpensive so I'm not expecting the highest quality out of them but they do have a nice look. This isn't a full on race car where I'm needing the lightest wheels, nor will I be doing a standing mile MPH run. I just hoped I could take it up to decent speeds for a little fun now and then and not get shook up.
Yeah I haven't had a problem I strictly drive 80+ on these south Florida highways. Lmr posts all the wheel weights as well, if I had to do it again I'd go with sve or Apex like previously stated.
