I followed Glenn's example and drove it into work.

Replaced the steering shaft firewall bearing, previous owner had some weird custom extension on there for some reason. Caused too much play so got a new S197 bearing to toss in. Still a little play left so doing inner/outer tie rods today.

Replaced my alternator-seemed daunting at first, then my friend said “ don’t be an idiot- come use my lift”.
I’m glad I’m not an idiot,lol.
Thanks, friend!!View attachment 1632120
Having a lift is such a great luxury. Having a friend who has a huge, too. Making doing most chassis/suspension/brake/exhaust work so much easier.

Just met a guy with this 03 cobra. Never see any around my town. A few guys from the big city went to my buddies for some street fun.

Anyway, this car came from Texas, built motor, whipple 2.9 making 755.

I only started mine up today, might drive tomorrow.

Well, for me it's that time of year where my annual inspections are due. So, I was playing musical cars this weekend. Pulled them all out. The Vert got inspected last week. Coupe is due in a couple months and it's the Roush's turn for inspection this week. So, put the coupe and vert in the back for now.

Yes, I know they need to be washed lol. One thing at a time LMAO!!!!

Just got back from first drive since last October! I debated on dropping it off at storage unit and bringing the notch back to swap motor mounts and such.

But I think that can wait. Debating on draining old fuel for some e70.
